"Parchem’s daughter Lilly Ann Chavez, 43, is a person of interest in the homicide investigation, which means investigators believe she may have information about what happened to Parchem, said Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sgt. Catherine Payne. There is more than one person of interest in the case, but Payne would not say who the other person or persons are.

“We do believe she has some knowledge about what happened to her mother,” Payne said.

On Thursday, Chavez’s bond was reduced from $400,000 to $25,000 for weapons charges from an arrest that occurred during the homicide investigation when deputies found weapons in her fiance’s Ponce Harbor apartment where she lived, according to court documents and the arrest report.

Deputies arrested Chavez on May 3 on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, both second-degree felony charges, according to court documents.

Payne said the charges have nothing to do with the homicide investigation directly."

Investigators told Channel 4 Friday night that the investigation into Parchem’s murder is still an active investigation. Detectives are still processing evidence they told Channel 4 they believe points to Parchem’s daughter, Lilly Chavez, as a person of interest.
...
However, an affidavit from the case reveals that Chavez and Parchem were riding together in the 67-year-old’s car the day before she was reported missing. Investigators also said after reviewing Chavez's cellphone records, it appears the two traveled in areas other than where Chavez said they traveled.

The affidavit says that when officers investigated Parchem's vehicle after her disappearance, there was debris and fresh scratches on it. The vehicle also tested positive for the presence of blood.

One of Barbara's friends and coworkers is interviewed in the article and video at link.
When SM <snipped, name in article> is working, she passes by Parchem's uniform. It is now framed and hangs inside the Village Inn where she waited tables for more than 20 years. SM says she can't be quiet any more. "If nobody speaks up and keeps her name out there, I'm thinking it'll go on the back burner and go cold," she added, "and she's worth more to me than that."

Chavez recieves sentencing for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Judge Michael Traynor sentenced Chavez, 44, to 364 days in a county jail with credit for 15 days she served previously. She also got 60 months probation.
...

In March 2014, Chavez’s attorney, Tom Cushman, filed a motion to suppress evidence in the case because the warrant that allowed for the search of Chavez’s apartment for items relating Parchem’s disappearance did not specify a crime. The affidavit for the search warrant listed reason for suspicions that included financial records, discrepancies in the story Chavez told, records from cell phone tower and text messages between Chavez and her boyfriend before Parchem’s disappearance. The firearms that were seized in the search were not specified in the warrant. The original charge of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon was brought down to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon only.

Can the thread title be updated to found Deceased or Murdered with an Arrest/POI perhaps? Not sure what format is used.
