If I am not mistaken this is the second case I have heard of this month...if you dont have patience for children why work as their caretakers?

Some people view it as an easy way to earn cash without having to do anything. Those types will simply "warehouse" a bunch of kids all day, putting in the minimal effort. It is sad, but it happens. Sounds like she wanted the kid to be quiet and out of the way.

Yes very true baby was only 5 months...I remember my baby just wanted to be held at that age

44 year old Tina Toney Lark was charged with manslaughter, and Sominex was found on her kitchen table.

I couldn't find an update on this case, but I found an obituary for a Tina Lark of Tampa Bay who died in May 2014 at age 47.

She pled guilty in Tampa court to first degree felony aggravated manslaughter of a child. Her sentencing consisted of 2 years of community control and 8 years probation. She ended up dying before completing her sentencing.
