SUNRISE, Fla.*- Veronica Hernandez, a distraught mother,*said Saturday morning her 17-year-old daughter Jazlyne Macia vanished after going to every class at Piper High School Thursday.
For months, Hernandez has been worried about Jazlyne's relationship with Orlando Young, 17, from North Miami Beach. She has been concerned about his criminal record and the photos he posts on social media.*
"I feel like she is in danger," Hernandez, 39,*said.*"I don't know if he is holding her against her will."
The*Sunrise Police Department*is involved. Hernandez said Jazlyne is a cheerleader, a student*who earns As*and Bs and is generally*responsible.*
Hernandez said Jazlyne usually carries*two book bags, her regular black book bag and her cheerleading bag.*She was last seen wearing a black shirt and*blue jeans.*
Right now at this point -- even though I am broken inside -- I just want to know that she is OK," Hernandez said.*"We hope that she comes back home."
