Caryville has a population of just about 300 people. The entire Washington County has a population of around 25 000 people.

That is odd. If he had plans to do something, you'd think his friend would have known or joined him. I hope he's ok. He's definitely an imposing figure to meet up with in the dark of night.

After dropping off that friend a couple miles away, Slay never returned back to his residence. Later, WCSO deputies discovered the truck Slay was driving in the woods close to Caryville Civic Center, just a couple of miles north from his home. Family and friends have not heard from him during this time.

My mind wonders:
1. Did he have a cellphone with him? That would show if it pinged where his truck was found or if someone else put the truck there.

2. Did the friend really get dropped off or did something foul happen and the friend went home afterwards? It seems there was only a few miles between friends home and KS home and the location of truck.

3. Has anyone found anymore info?

Tragic news, I'm afraid.

Who dropped Kyle off and who parked his truck in the woods?
It sounds like he drove his own truck to the woods and most likely self harmed or had some type of misadventure.

Not unusual for people to be found dead in that area and the surrounding county. And rarely solved. Caryville is surrounded by Holmes County. Phillip Enfinger from Pace FL was missing and found deceased in 2016.
