GUILTY FL - Samira Frasch, 38, found dead in swimming pool, Tallahassee, Feb 2014

Dr. Adam Frasch will tell a Leon County grand jury on Friday he had nothing to do with the February death of his wife, Samira Frasch.

Frasch spent Thursday afternoon waiting outside a courtroom ready to testify, but the case was not taken up until late morning and the slow pace of the closed-door, prosecutor-led proceedings pushed back his appearance...

Witnesses who testified Thursday included the maintenance man who found Samira Frasch's lifeless body the morning of Feb. 22 at the bottom of her Golden Eagle pool, one of the lead investigators in the case, Leon County Sheriff's Office Detective Tony Geraldi and state medical examiner Dr. Lisa Flannagan.

This most recent story above said he has been in jail since Feb, but really he just got out the end of Oct. In an update to the Tallahasse link he is now back in jail.... I guess him testifying at the Grand Jury did not help him. They only took one hour to indict.

Frasch, 47, a Thomasville, Ga. podiatrist, was booked Friday evening into the Leon County Jail where he is being held on no bond.

Investigative reports, recently shared with Frasch's defense team by the State Attorney's Office and obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat under Florida's open records law, provide insight into the tawdry case of infidelity and excess.

The documents, which include dozens of witness interviews, the autopsy report and investigators' findings, reveal previously undisclosed details about events surrounding the death of Samira, who was in the process of divorcing her husband.

From OkieGranny's link:
A witness who came to investigators said Frasch earlier this month asked him to get rid of all the golf clubs from the garage of the Golden Eagle home. Frasch reportedly said he thought they were still there because law enforcement officials hadn't mentioned them. He instructed the man not to sell or give the clubs away but to toss them in a lake or river.

"Just make them disappear," Frasch said, according to the witness.

She had 2 head wounds, cause of death; drowning and blunt force trauma to head. There is an unkown person's DNA on the robe tied around her waist, this maybe a problem for the prosecuter.

Court records show a settlement on Samira Frasch’s $1 million life insurance policy was reached last month. It grants $200,000 to her husband’s criminal defense attorney, $25,000 to a civil attorney and $150,000 directly to Adam Frasch.

Frasch made a deal with prosecutors last month to avoid the death penalty if found guilty. As part of the deal he'll be tried before a jury of six on May 2nd in Leon County.

Adam Frasch sentenced to life in prison

Frasch guilty of murder

"Frasch was sentenced to life in prison Thursday for killing his wife Samira Frasch, as his father and brothers sat quietly in the pews behind him. As part of a deal, prosecutors offered Frasch a six-member jury in exchange for not seeking the death penalty."
