Good to hear a tenative date has been set for the Savio MURDER Trial- August 24th. It can't happen fast enough.

I find it humorous Brodsky said the he needs to be able to talk to the media, saying publicity might prompt potential witnesses to come forward with relevant information.

His defense team expects an Appellate Court to rule in the next week or so on the motion to lower DP's 20 million $$$ bond. If it is lowered substantially according to the article in our Time Stamped thread, he could post and get out of jail. Let's hope not!
His 6x9' solitary quarters suits him well.

Drew Peterson's murder trial won't be going ahead next month as planned, after he waived his right to a speedy trial today.

Peterson is next due to appear in court Aug. 14, when his attorneys will try to have the case moved outside of Will County and to challenge the constitutionality of a hearsay law passed last year that allows Savio to testify "from beyond the grave."

No new Trial date has been set.

I'm hoping the time noted in this article may be helpful for a chart possibly!
Can it help in anyway in finding Stacy or a clue as to Drew's mind frame the night Stacy disappeared? TIA
It might be hard since to pinpoint, with it being a length of 4 hours being noted though...Just thought it might help in some way I hope! :wink:

CBS 2's Mike Puccinelli reported that before Karam, two other witnesses testified. Two were Starbucks Coffee workers, trying to establish that Peterson was at Starbucks between the hours of 6 and 10 p.m. on the night of Oct. 28, 2007, when Stacy Peterson disappeared.

Other testimony focused on a cup of coffee bought at a Bolingbrook Starbucks at 8:44 p.m. Oct. 28, 2007, the day Stacy Peterson disappeared. Prosecutors intend to use videotapes and cash register data from the purchase to bolster Drew Peterson's stepbrother's allegation that the two men were together on the night she disappeared.

Thomas Morphey has told police that Peterson used him to concoct a fake alibi for that day. The defense team dismisses the allegation as lies from a man with a long history of mental illness and multiple suicide attempts.

I doubt that he will testify in the hearsay hearing, but definitely in the murder trial. Although, from what I understand, he is very supportive of his father.
