Gilbert Attorney: Escort's Affidavit Implicates James Burke in GB Murders

All, some things, please.

1) Do not post people's names if they have not been named as POIs or Suspects by PD.

2) Do not mine and/or copy screen shots from other sites, such as FB, UG, etc.

3) Cut the snark.

TIA!

It seems to me that Chris Loeb is a light working catalyst and does not even realize that about himself yet. ....but he will eventually. Blessings.

Neptune, I like your graphic. Can you add four items to it and see if any linkages or relationships become apparent. Michael Pak, Megan Waterman, Amber Lynn Costello, and the motel in Hauppauge. It would be most interesting to learn if any of the existing people on your chart had or have any type of involvement with that motel or the people I listed.

What if in the minds of the 'players' that Oak Beach was getting too much Media and Law Enforcement attention after Shannan disappeared, and certain 'party' activities switched from Oak Beach to the motel in Hauppauge?

Maybe nothing, maybe something.

Thanks

Thank you - sure, I'll research it and get back with you.

Um, and just so it's clear to mods, graphic is 100% my work -- it's not a screenshot of anyone else's. It's done in Powerpoint.

Can anyone think of a reason John Ray would file a motion to disqualify Hacketts attorney? Could there be a conflict of interest. John Ray wants Burke to do a deposition. Spota worked for the firm that is currently representing Hackett.

I'm sure Loeb has a lot to say, not wise since he's in the pokey. Any idea when he gets out? Looks like early 2017 if he does the full 3 years.

It can be a shield or a sword. The reasons to file a motion to disqualify are as follows,

a party seeking to disqualify an attorney for an opposing party on the ground of a conflict of interest has the burden of demonstrating three elements:

  1. [*=1]the existence of a prior attorney-client relationship between the moving party and opposing counsel;
[*=1]that the matters involved in both representations are substantially related; and
[*=1]that the interests of the present client and former client are materially adverse.

If he is smart he will leave town until Burke is permanently put away, or he may be found dead of suicide as Bisset was (found by suffolk police shot in his car)

I think by the time Burke emerges from prison his band of cronies will be entering. I think there is a lot more on Burke that will be revealed once Spota is no longer DA and that will likely lead to permanent incarceration. Besides, with all the publicity it would be rather foolish to harm Loeb.

I really hope so. Hackett is a disgraceful person.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but do we think there's any possibility that, if at risk of more charges, Burke would flip and tell whatever he knows about the Gilgo 4 to save his own skin?

I've been digesting a lot of information recently, including catching up on this thread. It really is like peeling back a onion, layer upon layer. But at the core of this entire story are only a few names that keep popping up. Is it possible that the FBI and LE actually have a strong suspect but lack the evidence to complete the linkage and to make a arrest? While LE is keeping everything under wraps (which I appreciate due to what is clearly corruption in SCPD) they really know who is responsible but can't/won't make any public statements because the suspect has already been questioned and LE doesn't want HIM to know he's the main suspect?? Any thoughts???:thinking::dunno:

I think that's entirely possible. This definitely feels like a case where people know something but can't do anything because there is no forensic evidence.

A woman was called a liar when she came forward. Would LE call her a liar if she gave them a name they were unfamiliar with? I dont think so.

I believe that there are plenty of women who have had encounter's with the LISK and survived..... Like almost all SK's they make the mistake that gets them caught. This killer made a mistake when he made those phone calls, but as of now none of the voice witnesses have heard his voice. I wish more women would come forward to tell their stories of close calls, abuse, getting away, being scared, anything at all that would help....

I doubt it. Remember the culture he was created in. Although, he may do it if he really gives a hoot about his family.

Burke may only flip if he is charged with capital murder.

Forensic Psych major and homicide Detective. They did each other in. This would be funny if it werent so serious.

Actually, he specialized in screwing prostitutes in his police car while on duty in the 1st.PCT. Regaling is co-workers with stories how he enjoyed receiving oral sex while he was defecating. He was very proud of that part of his 'police work."

Awesome sense of humor hawkshaw.... even when it's true, you just have a way with words... thanks!
