Count me in too BFMD! I would love to know more about Totmom and the rest of the family through handwriting analysis. I find handwriting, body language and profiling to be fascinating.

Oh me too!!!!! Favorite show.......Criminal Minds!!

On NG tonight a handwriting analyst described Casey's letter to the Sheriff, asking to see her father. He stated that there was no space between the letters and lines and that this usually points to someone with no boundaries (I know surprise surprise). He also said that her writing usually indicates narcissism. This is not an exact quote, but I tried to write down the main points of his analysis. I thought it was interesting. Hopefully there will be a video of the show ? It's at the end of the segment.

Here is the newest sample that we have-complete with that signature of hers that seems to have morphed into an unreadable scrawl. Any thoughts on why that signature is so fluid and everchanging?

I'm one of those people whos handwriting varies alot, which is why I'm offering imput.
If I'm feeling lazy sometimes I sign my initials, rather than the complete signature.
Also when I'm anxious or in a hurry I use running writing, but other times I use normal script.
I think I started doing A's (as they appear in this text) when I was a teen, but now that my daughter is learning to read and write, I am forcing myself to do it the traditional way.

Just yesterday I was writing a letter to her teacher and half of it had 'fancy' A's and the other half traditional....had to scrap it and concentrate really hard to write them all in the traditional way.

IMO since Kc's behaviour morphed into the personalities of the people she was around, maybe her handwriting varies with her changes in personality too. Just a thought.

I noticed that my handwriting changed as I grew older too. As a teen the letters were larger, more round and now letters are smaller. I noticed the same with my daughters. I don't have any experience in handwriting analysis, but find it fascinating. I know it's not a 100% science and opinions range depending on the expert...still I think there is something to be learned from the analysis of Casey's handwriting. I would love for a good analyst to look at the journal entry found in the home to determine the time of that entry. So far I have not found any expert opinions on this topic.

I think it would be interesting to have an analysis of all the family members.

Here is one site, I had not seen before. Many of the comments are from people who are not experts, but I thought their opinions were interesting.

It is very interesting to see how most of these amateur handwriting analyzers
point out the same features. I don't know how much information they had on KC prior to the sample. It seems like I read something months ago that was an expert analysis of KC's writing from her written statement to LE. If I can remember where I saw it I will provide a link. Thanks for this link, Search!! :blowkiss:

Well, my dear Searchfortruth, I did promise to see if I could find the link to the expert's analysis of KC's writing and it wasn't as difficult as I thought it might be. Maybe this will be interesting to compare to amateurs.

He also said her handwriting indicates that she does not know right from wrong, which is when Nancy abruptly shifted away from him to close the show.

Yes, I remember him saying that. I don't agree with that part of his analysis, but everything else seemed to be on track. Of course everyone knows about Casey's personality now, so it would not be hard for someone to give an analysis. I can't even remember the guys name, I was going to look him up to get an idea about his background w/ handwriting analysis.

His name is Roger Rubin.

The zero (0) KC wrote for her no. of dependents is much larger than any of the other zeros she wrote to indicate income, costs, etc.

ETA: that is in reference to the docs. linked in BeanE's previous post above.

The handwriting seemed odd or maybe like it was traced over or something. If you look closely it even seems as if maybe the date might have been changed. I cant exactly put my finger on it but there is defiantly something up with the KCs handwriting in this Affidavit. :waitasec:

It seems she was angry IMO.

It struck me in KC's affidavits that accompanied her motion for indigency that there is no space whatever between her first, middle, and last names, and I don't recall her signature looking the way it does in these documents. (I need to look it up.)

The affidavits are at the end of this file:

BeanE, I mentioned this in the Indingency thread...compare it to the first statement she gave on 7/15 or 16. It is a full signature. She seems to be modeling her signature after Baez's now.

ETA: here is her statement: http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1473802/Statement---Casey-Anthony-Written-2008-0715

Compare that to the 3/5 ones

Wow, how does one change their signature at her age as drastically as this girl has?
You're right, looks more like Biaz's now.
Can you spell chameleon?

It's her 'power signature', LOL. A legend in her own mind.

I have wondered if Casey's change in handwriting is an attempt to remove herself from the diary that was found in the Anthony home.

actually I am pretty sure it points to her rejection of her own name. I dont think she likes being famous as much as she thought she might.
