Convicted child killer Delilah Williams is looking for new friends online while serving time at the Federal Detention Center in Honolulu, according to a website dedicated to finding prison pen pals.

Williams, 30, has pleaded guilty to causing the death of her 5-year-old stepdaughter, Talia Emomi Williams, who died July 16, 2005, after months of torture at their Wheeler Army Airfield home.

Under a plea deal with the government, Williams will get a sentence of 20 years in prison. Her husband, former Schofield Barracks soldier, Naeem Williams, 34, is facing a death sentence in U.S. District Court for killing his daughter.

Convicted child killer Naeem Williams admitted for the first time in federal court Wednesday afternoon that he killed his 5-year-old daughter and asked the jury that is considering whether to impose the death sentence to spare his life.

"Instead of helping and protecting Talia, I hurt and killed her," Williams told the same jurors who found him guilty last month of two counts of capital murder.

Jurors are taking too long to deliberate the fate of a former Hawaii-based soldier facing the death penalty for killing his 5-year-old daughter, defense attorneys said in a motion that calls for a mistrial in the first capital murder trial since Hawaii became a state...

Death penalty jury to announce decision on Friday
By Star-Advertiser staff
POSTED: 03:46 p.m. HST, Jun 26, 2014

The jury in the capital murder trial of former Schofield Barracks soldier Naeem J. Williams told the court Thursday that they have reached a decision on whether he should be sentenced to death or to life in prison.

However, the announcement of the decision will not be read in court until Friday at 9 a.m. In a note to U.S. District Judge J. Michael Seabright, the jury said the process has been "emotionally draining" and that they wanted to delay the reading of the decision until Friday.

This one's a nail biter....
Hawaii does not have capitol punishment. It's only because of his military status that he eligible for death.

Jury rejects death penalty in Williams murder case
By Star-Advertiser staff
POSTED: 08:59 a.m. HST, Jun 27, 2014

A federal court jury in Honolulu rejected the death penalty on Friday for former Schofield Barracks soldier Naeem J. Williams, who instead will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his 5-year-old daughter Talia in 2005.

The case was the first capital murder trial in the state of Hawaii.

The jury told U.S. District Judge J. Michael Seabright that it was unable to reach a unanimous decision on the death penalty, leaving life in prison without parole as the only sentencing option. He will be formally sentenced at a later date...

As for stepmom Delilah Williams, "she was sentenced to 20 years in prison last year as part of a plea agreement". Wish she got life as well for what she did to this precious little girl. RIP Talia.

Almost a decade after 6-year old Talia Williams was killed by her father, Army soldier Naeem Williams, the U.S. government has settled a civil suit with the girl's biological mother for $2 million...

Tarshia lost custody of the girl in 2004 because, her attorney says, people didn't like her alternative lifestyle. Tarshia is gay and living with her partner. Talia was sent to her biological father, Naeem and his wife, Delilah. Both tortured the girl for months, beating her almost every day...

The proposed legislation will be called the Talia Williams Child Abuse Notification Act, or Talia's Law. It would require those who suspect abuse on military property to report it, not just to their supervisor, but also to State Child Protective Services.
