(05-22) 11:13 PDT GILROY -- An out-of-control, wind-blown wildfire is burning in the Santa Cruz Mountains west of Gilroy, burning at least 10 structures and forcing the evacuation of residents, authorities said.
The Summit Fire was reported about 5:30 a.m. and has burned at least 2,000 acres north of Highway 152 around the border of Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties, according to officials with the state Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and other agencies.
