We all knew from the beginning this was the most likely suspect. He has a lot of domestic violence, drugs, and assault history under his belt. The only thing left now is trying to persuade him to give up her location. Whether she is dead or alive is a moot point, we all know the answer to that, so does her family.

BURLEY • A probation violation hearing for a Burley man questioned in the disappearance of a Burley woman has been moved to Aug. 4.

James McLaws, the boyfriend of Tiffani Streling, had previously failed to appear at a probation violation for an unrelated drug case. He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, but his lawyer, Dave Haley, didn’t show up.

Cutting off an ankle monitor and fleeing to Twin Falls in July 2015 will cost the boyfriend of missing Burley woman Tiffani Streling some jail time.

During Tuesday’s probation violation status hearing in Cassia County, Judge Michael Crabtree commuted James McLaws’ sentence to six years in prison with two years fixed.

Family still searching for missing Burley woman

Last week was Tiffani Streling's birthday. The 23-year-old Burley woman went missing almost two years ago, but that didn't stop her family from having a party for her.

"We had a barbecue and a cake," said William Streling, Tiffani's father.

William and his wife, Stephanie, haven't given up on finding her. With money the community raised for them, they have certified dogs to search for hints of where Tiffani went.

Next day May 17,Tiffani disappeared. I would think her ex-boyfriend was as a good suspect as JamesAllen Mclaws, and it makes this case more difficult, it is reasonable doubt

It doe not have much more information than Charley project, we have a girl missing, her boyfriend/fiancée has a violent streak, and he just found out she was cheating on him, and she also had an ex boyfriend, who was very upset about her ending their relationship, nothing good could come out from this mess

I haven't dug into this case much, but human behavior is relatively predictable. In the scenario you described, the murderer would most likely be McLaws as opposed to Defilippis. The latter got his revenge by blabbing to McLaws.

I kind of agree, but still you cannot rule out the possibilities that later Tiffani later had a confrontation with DDefilippis, and something occurred as a result, it was exactly what a defense attorney needed, and make it much more difficult to get justice for this woman
