*Sentencing Hearing (@ 1:30pm CT) - IL –Alysha Quate (6) (mid-June 2015, Centreville; found June 6, 2017) - *Jason Scott Quate (35/now 39) “father” indicted (8/16/17) & charged (10/5/18) with 1st degree murder & concealing a *homicidal death (Class 3 felony). Plead not guilty. $1M bond.
Admitted to killing Alysha & hiding her body.
*NV - Jason Scott Quate - In custody in Nevada, Clark County (#17F10214X): 3/12/20 Plead guilty to multiple counts of sexual assault on child. Sentenced on 7/14/20 to 28 years to life. Was extradited to Illinois 10/4/20.
Trial was set to begin on 10/3/22 was cancelled. Plead guilty (10/25/22) & sentencing hearing on 11/22/22.

10/3/22 Update: Trial was cancelled, no further dates on court site. Status conference hearing on 10/11/22. 10/11/22 Update: Next status conference hearing on 10/25/22. 10/25/22 Update: Plead guilty. Presentencing investigation issued. Set for sentencing hearing on 11/22/22.
IL - Elizabeth Odell-Quate (35) “mother” – plead guilty to concealing a body. Sentenced to 2½ years in prison; released on parole in May, 2020.

Man charged with killing daughter, leaving her body in Illinois garage gets 28 years in Nevada case

Jason Quate was convicted on child sex charges. He's also suspected in his 6-year-old daughters death in Centreville, Illinois

A man accused of murder in the death of his 6-year-old daughter in a St. Louis suburb was sentenced Monday to 28 years to life in Nevada state prison for his conviction on felony child sex charges.

Jason Scott Quate, 37, also was sentenced to lifetime supervision and registration as a sex offender following his guilty pleas to sexual assault with a minor and lewdness with a child.

Quate still faces murder and concealing a homicidal death charges in St. Clair County, Illinois, court records there show.
