At first they said he was armed with a gun and I can understand they would probably be justified in shooting him before he shot them or someone else (depending on his actions, especially at a school). But what I don't understand is how they shot him during a struggle because if they were struggling with him they had to have been close enough to know he was armed only with a replica. And wouldn't they be able to wrestle it away from him? Were they worried about shooting one another?
