Now tell me, who in prison doesn't want better living conditions. I truly hope he is miserable and that he never admits he committed a crime, that will make being locked up worse in his mind. Do the time Jerry!

Jerry Sandusky has to be around people all the time. He cannot be alone as it is like his Kryptonite. Let him go to the General Population. :floorlaugh:

its a dern shame. i really wish they would grant him his wish and put him with the other criminals. then he would might gain some emapthy towards his victims. after he was raped a few times.

BELLEFONTE, Pa. - Reporters won't be allowed to bring laptops or cellphones into the courtroom during next week's hearing on Jerry Sandusky's post-sentencing motions.

Judge John Cleland announced the decorum order Friday, saying it was required because reporters violated the rules when Sandusky was sentenced in October by tweeting................

The hearing Thursday in Bellefonte involves a claim by Sandusky that his lawyers didn't have enough time to prepare for trial.

Sandusky defense team rates chance of appeal success 'a long three-point shot'

Give the confidence battle to the prosecutors today.

Jerry Sandusky's lead appeals attorney equated his client's chances of winning a new trial today as the equivalent of "a long three-point shot" in a basketball game.

But prosecutors for Attorney General Linda Kelly quickly countered with arguments that they felt the strength of the child sex abuse conviction against former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky is a slam dunk..............

Prosecutors based their confidence on defense attorney Joe Amendola's response under cross-examination today that, now more than six months after the verdict, he has not found any evidence in the case materials that would have materially changed his case.

Jerry Sandusky attorney: More time would not have changed strategy

BELLEFONTE — Joe Amendola, the lawyer representing Jerry Sandusky, had a mission in the months leading up to the trial — get the prosecutors in the case to turn over as much information in their case as possible in the hope of raising doubt about the victims’ accusations............

As it turns out, Amendola testified Thursday during a court hearing for Sandusky, many of the documents the attorney labored to get were irrelevant to the trial he tried to have delayed multiple times on the grounds he needed more time to prepare a defense.............

But when pressed by prosecutor Joseph E. McGettigan III on cross-examination if any of the discovery materials he has since read would have changed the defense strategy, Amendola said no.

Dottie Sandusky, who is allowed only one visit a month to see her husband, sat in the front row at the hearing. After it was over, Jerry Sandusky blew her and other family members a kiss, saying “Love you all” before he was escorted out.............

After the hearing, Fina said his last day in the Attorney General’s Office will be Jan. 18. McGettigan said he is not sure if he will stay at his post.

McGettigan also praised Fina on Thursday for recognizing Sandusky as a possible pedophile after the report from the young man from Clinton County in 2008 and using the grand jury to investigate. Fina said convicting Sandusky on what would have been a misdemeanor count would have been difficult, and losing the case likely would have scared off Sandusky’s victims.

When I see people at trial, the defendant rarely or never smiles. However, every time I see photos of Jerry Sandusky at trial or sentencing, he always has that creepy grin. I even see that in Scott Peterson. I rarely saw it with Casey Anthony or never with Lori Drew.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Jerry Sandusky lost a bid for a new trial Wednesday when a judge rejected his argument that his lawyers were not given enough time to prepare for the three-week proceeding that ended with a 45-count guilty verdict.

Judge John Cleland's 27-page order said lawyers for the former Penn State assistant football coach conceded that their post-trial review turned up no material that would have changed their trial strategy...........

He also rejected post-sentencing motions regarding jury instructions, hearsay testimony and a comment by the prosecution during closing arguments that referred to the fact that Sandusky, who did not testify at trial, gave media interviews after he was arrested in November 2011.............

"No one who has had the slightest experience with child sexual abuse or given a whit of thought to its dynamics could conclude that failure to make a prompt complaint, standing alone, is an accurate indicia of fabrication," Cleland said..............

Sandusky defense lawyer Norris Gelman said Wednesday that while he had not read the decision, Cleland's ruling means an appeal will be filed to the mid-level Superior Court within the next 30 days.

The state attorney general's office, which prosecuted Sandusky, declined to comment.

Also Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Senate unanimously approved a bill that aims to keep Penn State's $60 million fine to the NCAA over the Sandusky scandal within the state.
