According to his arrest citation, Belt admitted that he got into an argument with Spoonamore about money and hit her in the head, tied her up, took her to the cliff and beat her again.

Investigators say Belt also admitted James was with Jessica when he took her to the cliff.

On Sunday, more than 200 people took part in a massive search effort to look for James Spoonamore. They came out again on Monday morning before calling off the search.

State Police say they found a child's body at 9:31 a.m. about 180-feet off Sparks Ridge Road.

KSP: Child missing in Jackson County.

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky (WYMT) - Officials with Kentucky State Police told WYMT they are searching for a young boy who went missing in Jackson County.

Family members told WYMT that the mother had been found beaten and unconscious. They said she was taken to UK Medical Center.

Anyone who has seen the child is asked to contact Kentucky State Police or Jackson County 911 at 606-287-9979.

Now, I'm wondering. According to MSM report, offender wanted to wake up husband (Jessica Durham's husband, who was asleep in house). My question is, "Why did the husband not report this?" Reports state Mom was found by hikers. Money was involved, so it was stated. Just so devastating that this precious little one died because of $!!!

So heartbreaking for mother and family. I am so sad for this little guy. I hope it was quick and painless for him because the thought of him out there alone dying a slow death is just devastating. However he died, I hope the monster who took them never sees the light of day.
