Let's talk about the letters

Ironically, CPH's history of telling lavish lies to make himself appear to be a super hero will inevitably be the strongest piece of evidence to clear his name of all of the charges listed in the lawsuit.

I just read Truthspider's thorough compiled list of lies and exaggerations that CPH has told in the past. The man has a documented history of being an absolute chronic liar. The one common theme/purpose for every single one of those lies has been to elevate his image to make himself look like a HERO.

If that case against him should some how find a miracle way into an actual trial, the biggest question that will be asked by every member of the jury will be;

If CPH lied all of those other times to make himself look like a great guy, a hero, the man who saved the day, etc... then why are we to now suddenly supposed to believe that just this one time he was actually telling the truth when he said that he tried to save SG or that he took her in to help her in his home for wayward girls???

Why was he lying all of those other times but just this one time, this one situation, he is not lying???

Well how many times has he lied about sticking someone with a needle?

Or for that matter, please show me anywhere he lied about administering any kind of drugs (From sudafed to Morphine?

CPH NEighbor: Whatever happened to that girl?
CPH: I stuck her with a needle; i saved the day.

Doesnt sound glamerous

hmmm. Interesting point of view. Are those facts straight as far as the order of the phone calls? Has it ever been proved diaz and pak called sherri and told her to call CPH? Or is there a mix of hypothetical situations and real ones?

I am quoting myself. It is in reference to your post on this thread that addresses Truthspiders questions. Can you clear that up for me?

Because there would be an argument as to what PART of his story was a lie. First he lies about talking to Mari on the phone, that he never called, then he admits he called her, but he was a good guy and just offered his assistance. A little at a time the truth comes out. Just some of it.

He lied or not about telling people he took SG in and tended to her and sent her on her way with her driver. The part that is a lie is sending her on her way with her driver.

For every lie, there is an element of truth when he finally gets past the all out denials.

Native, do I need to start worrying about you quoting yerself? Are you SURE you survived Sandy ok??? Just checkin buddy. :p

If there was no funny business and the doc is being wrongfully accused I would imagine it went something like this. Alex met the doctor when he and MP came to Oak Beach looking for Shannan. The doctor introduced himself and offered to help in anyway he could and gave them his card. Alex called him on the 6th and asked him to call and speak with Shannan's mother. The doc made the call 5 minutes later as requested. Perhaps he called Shannan's sister on the 9th (Mother's Day) while she was in Oak Beach with Shannan's mother. Why? I don't know. Maybe she called him when she arrived in Oak Beach but he did not pick up and that call was then returned by the doc to arrange the face to face meeting at his house. Either way, hopefully this lawsuit helps get to the bottom of it all and answers the question once and for all if Shannan and him crossed paths that night, as well as eliciting other details that remain unknown about that night.

sounds reasonable to me!

if not post - could you tell me what post number it is and which thread to read?
thanx i appreciate it.

ps149,

I do respect your support and defense of CPH. As I and many others are sure of his culpability, you keep coming up with creative and unique ways of justifying his behaviour as innocent and altruistic.

I especially like the concept where the fact he is a known liar, so even when he incriminates himself, we are not to believe him.

Just as a stopped clock is correct twice a day, the fact that CPH is a liar, does not mean he is never truthful.

You can debate the letters, calls, peoples' motivations and goals forever. In this case it really boils down to one issue alone from my point of view.

Did CPH meet SG that night? yes or no.

If so did CPH have a duty to provide proper care to SG as a doctor? yes or no

Did CPH provide proper care to SG as a doctor. yes or no.

You can paint CPH's personality with any color brush you want, but that does not change the fact that he has admitted to at least one person that he met SG that night. I believe that is the truth.

(Simple test, under oath ask MP if CPH and SG met that night)

MOO

Did someone ever exercise an option that he might accidentally overdose her (or unwanted drugs interaction took place) that night? That she left his house in panic but being alive..lost in marshland and drown there without his actual knowledge? That could explain his earlier conflicting statements..

I fell and hit my head. The doctor said the color streaks and screaming fits should go away soon.

I have definitely said that. I compared her to a rhino getting hit by a tranquilizer dart. They walk around fine for a little bit (in this case...run through the marsh) and then as the drugs kick in....they drop.

While that is a very possible scenario, it seems that would be just another way to distance himself from being responsible in some way to her eventual demise.

It seems that is why he gave bits of truth to his neighbors and to MG. To provide himself distance, an alternative scenario, reasonable doubt.. I don't think CPH is stupid. I do think he's very calculating.

Right, he is not stupid, he is acting in defensive mode.
Just go figure.. Night, girl's screams in the dark, neighborhood disturbance.. ppl definitely did stick their nose outside to check what was going on..good doc to the rescue for girl in panic.. sedative..she left..."we just saw her footprints on the sand next morning"...nobody knew about wrongoing very first hrs/days.. "yes, i saw her and treat her"........THEN....OB Community found out that girl didn't make her way home that night... then back ups and conflicting statements started.. noone wants to take responsability for what happened..since noone directly or intentionally did hurt her.. that was just unfortunate chain of events..

As I said (about two years ago already): That he is hiding something is not prove he killed something. There are other things and since JB and SG left the house for ab. 15 minutes and didn't leave OB, there are other possibilities, much more consistent with CPH's obvious limitations (as in one leg). And since also CPH's tendency to inject himself in every fray around is known, there are even more possibilities.
However, we know, he can't be LISK. He is maybe connected in some indirect way to SG's death, but he can't be LISK. Because LISK had obviously not the faintest idea about the whole Shannen Gilbert story or he wouldn't have parked Costello at the Beach. He would have known, the area is compromised. He didn't know. CPH did know. So CPH != LISK.

Interesting perspective. The problem in my mind about that is that the area wasn't compromised. That is the motivation behind CPH calling MG and saying SG left with her driver ("She's not in this area, so stop looking here.") In all reality, the GB4 wasn't found for another 6 months after SG. It was GB4 found just off the road. The earlier bodies were found farther in, which means there's a possibility they had been just off the road since the area is commonly flooded. So even if his one leg becomes an issue in your mind as far as his capability is concerned, it could have happened easily if he pulled his vehicle up to the brush and used his upper body strength with GB4.
