She wanted OUT of there. Dog taking or no dog taking. She may of even been told, GO back to Easton.

I'll just also note here that her parents lied to the original Canton cop (Lank) and told him Caitlyn Albert left at 12:15. I don't think they wanted anyone to even think about asking her any questions, so they kept her off the radar until they could no longer do so. (FBI geofence data?) And I think this is because they specifically wanted Chloe off everyone's radar.

Just want to say that now I completely understand why the defense was so insistent on moving this trial to this tiny tiny courtroom. Each witness is up close and personal for all the jury to see. There is no mistaking body language. Facial expressions, snarls and eye rolls are in your face personal. I believe the defense had Jen McCabe in mind, when they pushed for this request.

She does have a snarl.

The more I let it all come to me, this whole awful event and main players are FAR more INSIDIOUS than you can imagine.

It is pretty mind blowing. Middle aged people living in nice big homes in a nice town with even nicer salaries.

I note that the "Karen Read said she hit him so she must be guilty!" people have been mostly quiet since Jen took the stand. She was openly hostile, contemptuous and unbelievably defensive and couldn't even try to pretend to be the "good and honest" person she claimed to be. And we've only just begun.

All the pieces to the puzzle really are filling in aren’t they and it’s all so rotten to the core.
JenJen on the stand today. Can you imagine when she’s unleashed? I caught only glimpses of the crazy oozing out of her on the stand bc she is keeping herself on a tight lease but I see a “feral” screeching cat when I watch her.
On another note I can’t wait for BHiggins to be in the witness chair that is something I will plan my day around.
Fingers crossed for true Justice for JOK

Yup, I do believe it's just begun.

Yes, I caught that about J. I CANNOT miss Higgins. live. I do HOPE so much for true justice for JO and his family. Truth, no more wondering for them or the why's. She'll be frothing when K. Roberts gets up there.

One interesting bit that almost got lost in today's testimony with all the various revelations:

Nicole Albert told Jen that they'll get more info tomorrow and she doesn't want to text about it. This was the day before Jen met with Ofc. Lank's wife.

Jen claimed that the reason she and Nicole didn't want to text was because the kids were snooping her phone. I find that a little hard to believe. Teenage kids are desperate to read text messages between their mom and their aunt? Phones have locks, right? Or for that matter couldn't she just tell them to leave her private stuff alone?

MOO, but JMC has been singing her own praises this entire trial. Through one McCabe or Albert witness to the next. There was ALWAYS a good word put in for her. ( She helped orchestrate that I am almost positive). So besides the good friend experiencing harassment and terror, she also was a good mom, protecting her children and the world from her knowledge of the underworld ,aka Karen Read.

She is all knowing... I am sure the jurors understood that

The defense theory is that he was attacked by someone in the house very soon after he arrived. Colin makes the most sense to some because of his youth and apparent aggressiveness as well as his history with the deceased, the extent of which we're not really sure.

Colin is the nephew of the Alberts and son of Jen McCabe's best friend. When it was clear John was not going to recover, his body was left out in the cold sometime after the first plow went by at about 2:30 am. Can't have our boy going to prison, and besides we can control the investigation. Or the lack thereof.

I personally suspect Caitlin Albert's boyfriend didn't return to the house because she's "high maintenance" but instead to collect Chloe the biter and take her back to their house in Easton. Neither Tristan nor Caitlin explained why she suddenly felt the need to return all the way to Easton that late in a snowstorm when he was supposed to be working soon. She was in her childhood home and her bedroom was still there. They used Tristan's SUV to block anyone's view of that particular section of the lawn and brought the victim's body out from the back. This is the SUV the snow plow driver saw in his path at around 3 - 3:30 am.

Jen McCabe, control freak that she is, played quarterback. As her husband said, "Just tell him the guy never came in the house".
I am with you on this scenario JMO

today was absolutely riveting, I hated ending early.

From what I’ve seen in trial so far, Karen Read is that damn ham sandwich that got indicted… this is absolute malarkey.

I didn’t get into this case at all before trial, has the possible flirtationship with BH been discussed/could it be part of any antagonism?

Outside court Friday, the defense told NBC10 Boston they plan to ask more questions about a Google search on McCabe's phone, where she attempted to Google, "How long does it take to die in the cold?"

McCabe was at 34 Fairview Rd the night before but says she was asked to do the search by Read after the pair found O'Keefe's body. The defense says somethings not adding up.

"That Google search was at 2:27 in the morning, that is when the Google search happened, you will find out why we know that in short order," said Jackson.

Meanwhile, the judge does have some concerns about the pace of this trial, specifically how long its taking. She plans to look into some changes.

Crazy how the trial wouldn't be so long if "what, if any-" was banned just like "of course" was banned. Also, it'd be a shorter trial if the prosecution decided to attempt to prosecute Ms. Read instead of, ya know, run offense for the entire McAlbert (coined by TB; as obnoxious as he is, he got this case to be super popular) gang. Emphasis on gang.
*Just my lil ol' opinion!

oh yeah, easily. karen started contact with BH after JO pulled whatever he pulled in Aruba, and it was just a flirtationship as you said, which she shut down once her and JO got back to good. BH did not like that.
*my theory and opinion*

Jen has said 12 times prior to this trial that Karen said “did I hit him?” and only now testified that Karen said “I hit him” over and over. What is the explanation for that?

And how come we’re supposed to feel some kind of way for Jen and Kerry acting strangely because their friend had just died, but Karen acting strangely is because she’s guilty?

The defense insinuated that JM was trying to separate JO and KR when the left the waterfall. So I’m inferring that the defense is suggesting they may have wanted to confront him or rough him up about something. Maybe job/police related, maybe related to CA. And when KR and JO didn’t separate, they set him up for a confrontation at the Albert home. That’s my interpretation of the questioning. It fits but I have such a hard time believing adults and parents act like this.

A lot of people have no idea about phone internals or cloud storage or anything like that.

They think that once something is deleted it's gone forever and can't be retrieved.
I think that is so true! Yet in JMc's case was it her hubby Matt who is some kind of IT specialist? I might have that wrong and maybe makes no diff in terms of her thinking the texts would be gone forever from her phone. I think she must have assumed an extraction would not show the deleted messages and missed calls to JO's phone. Or perhaps she did not have time to do anything further on a tech level to wipe data from the deleted items bin or perhaps even realised scrubbing the deleted items bin would be more suspect were it to be discovered. jmo

I don't think jury will buy that she not only didn't know she made those seven or whatever calls but also that she didn't know she deleted them?? Aren't missed calls shown in a separate phone window to messages? To my mind she cannot have deleted missed call notifications without being aware of them and JO's name was in her contacts not some random number.

Calling BS on all that testimony amongst a bus load of other ie what gives re the seven and nine (?) second ANSWERED calls to sister whilst she is standing near Kerry's car (apparently) after JO discovered, which she also denies were ever answered. The extraction got that wrong she seems to be saying, yet the the extraction got the unanswered call she made to ...was it BA...? in the same short window of time right? It shows BA (?) did not answer. I think she lied. Jmo

Just because I always look for several explanations. Could there have been a totally different explanation for JMcC deleting her calls to JO and not asking for anyone's advice? Especially since she doesn't like family members snooping into her phone?
