Frank Rubert took this picture of Luka #Magnotta during their time together in Berlin.

Notice the "nick" in his forearm.

I think that's just something on the photo maybe.

No hair clippings found, combined with the references to the wig being found, gave me the distinct impression that he had been wearing the wig all along and just wanted Rubert to think he had cut his hair for him.

Me as well. We've seen some stills of him in various airports/bus stations in Europe wearing the wig as his disguise. So I'm assuming he had very short cropped hair underneath and removed the wig when Rupert scared him into thinking he'd have to go to a barber and disclose that he was wearing a wig. Considering that picture we've seen today, I'd say Rupert was a little gullible...just the type LM liked to take advantage of. He sure knew how to pick his victims.

I think you're correct. I also wondered about that mark on his neck/chest region in the first picture I posted. Just marks on bad prints of the photo. Thanks for clarifying sinwonderland.

So I'm trying to figure out if Leclair is going to grill Frank Rupert mercilessly this afternoon or if he's just going to let most of his testimony stand and clarify a few things. I doubt LM is taking too kindly to FR's depiction of him as "not his type" and that he "turned him off" right from the encounter at the bus stop. Is LM's version of their time together in Berlin different? And is Leclair going to make this known?

I thought FR's version of events was a little unlikely, tbh... Who advertises for a roommate when they live in one room with one sofa bed? He didn't intend on letting LM stay with him, but he waited there two hours for his bus to arrive? Then he told LM he had to buy new clothes and cut his hair - who says that to.a guest that's just arrived? They shared a bed and he took naked photos of LM, but nothing sexual happened? He didn't realise it was a wig, and he took loads of money from LM's sock...


Also, that photo of LM is scary! The guy looks like something is seriously wrong with him, whether that be schizophrenia or psychopathy (or both!).

Is there any benefit to LM's case for Leclair to catch this guy out on lies? He obviously doesn't know who Emile Lacroix is so what good is he? Although if Leclair asks him I'll really be :floorlaugh:

Copy/paste seems okay. LOL .. I though I was going to be a bust again this aft. About 1/2 hr ago someone else decided to do something fancy with my computer, downloade and next thing I knew it was non-functional. During the Tori trial when I was doing the tweets, I had one of the biggest emergencies of my life going on right at the time the verdict was about to come down. I thought I'd die :floorlaugh:

Also, he asked LM if he had a passport, and LM said no, but my friend has one... Didn't he think that was a tad suspicious?

Anyway, LM certainly wasn't keeping a low profile - going to bars and restaurants, flashing his cash, advertising as an escort , googling himself in an internet cafe
I'm sure the defence will use that to argue he wasn't in his right mind.
