No they didn't. They went to stay at another one of the houses they own.

I believe they are now in an undisclosed hotel in KL.

This was actually not totally accurate and came out about a week ago. He owned two houses, and the wife and children had moved into the other one, I think. Someone else may remember better and possibly have a link.

But if it was the day before the flight doesn't that seem odd? IMO

For those interested in technical stuff and maps, I humbly offer the following:

For attribution purposes, I've captured and slightly enlarged a JPEG from within this NYDailyNews.com website article:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/flight-mh370-debris-search-australia-ends-day-crews-reach-site-spotted-objects-article-1.1727815

The JPEG is:

At the top of the JPEG are two pairs of map coordinates:

Code:
43°58'34.00"S 90°57'37.00"E

and

44° 3'2.00"S 91°13'27.00"E

Copy and paste those coordinates into Google Earth/Maps and that pair of locations is approx. 1,576+ miles, 231.09° (SSW) from the center of Perth Australia.

Those coordinate pair are about 15.76 miles from each other.

I hope you liked this.

:welcome: 1PW!

And thank you for the coordinates and related information!

A friend of mine was in the Navy for twenty years and was a navigator in the back of a plane that flew off an aircraft carrier. He thinks it was a thwarted hijacking attempt like flight 93.

That crossed my mind. It's anyone's guess. I was really hoping they found the debris today.

Must have been Airport. Who is alive to report that he made a call from the cockpit? jmo

That is a good question, though...

Even if we think the phone call is important... Or if we don't...

How was it alerted to the "powers that be"?

Who would be aware that a phone call was made... Other than those physically around him...

and if it was made in the cockpit... Then it would most probably be reported by the person the call was made to.... Since... Unfortunately... There is no sign of plane passengers, crew, etc atm...

why would this call be a mystery, then?

I am puzzled... And hope I didn't confuse anyone else... :crosseyed:

Hard to say as we don't know how often they switch homes. Some families do have more than one home and go to one or the other depending on seasons, etc...

(I'm not that fortunate lol)

I think two of their children are adults, as well, so they may have moved due to school, work, who knows. I do wish we knew more about it, though, just to ease everyone's mind.

Just a guess but perhaps when the Family was interviewed a member stated they had received a call? Perhaps his phone records were checked and the person was interviewed? I'm sure as part of the Investigation it would be important as to whom the Pilot spoke with last.
