MD MD - JASON THOMAS SCOTT, suspected mother/daughter SK

That would be:

Andre Labell Hayes, age 32
Date: 1 Nov 2008, 12:09 am
Location: Broadleaf Drive, 10600 block, 20774
Shot; found inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds

Victim's address: Brooke Jane Drive, 6300 block, 20735

In further checking that case, Hayes was shot by an unknown male who jumped into a parked car before driving off.

For an interesting perspective on all homicides from 2005-2009 in Prince George's County, MD, click on the map below. It takes 30 seconds to load. If that map doesn't make you want to move far away from there, then you're probably already a combat-hardened veteran. I'll never step foot inside Maryland, myself.

Trio indicted in case of slain DEA informant

( Kelya Clements, her husband Antoine Clements and Vicki Gordon for perjury and providing false alibi for Weldon Gordon who was charged with murdering Mr. Hayes and is awaiting trial)

He killed 5 women and robbed many more. He took an Alford plea on 2 of the murders and got 85 years. He got 100 yr sentence in Jan 2012 for home invasions. He can not apply for parole until he is 115 and can not appeal.

In exchange for the plea, prosecutors dropped charges in three other killings: the January 2009 shooting deaths of Karen Lofton, 45, and her daughter, 16-year-old Karissa; and the June 2008 killing of Vilma Butler, 46, who was fatally shot before her Bowie home was set on fire.

On the program last night they did not really talk about he used the UPS data base or that he might have committed other crimes in other states. I guess no one is worried about that since he will spend the rest of his life in prison. Since he is no longer awaiting trial maybe this thread could be moved to the "serial killer thread".....
