"After hearing there was a press conference and listening to Mrs. Short's statement, we are further convinced that we made the correct decision. One of the reasons we relieved Mrs. Short was because she was holding her own press conferences, making statements to the media, and giving tours of the home that we were finding out about after the fact. Moreover, we learned the FBI felt Mrs. Short wasn't being productive in the relationship between the family and the agency.
We want the focus to remain where it should always have been which is on the search for Lisa. Mr. Tacopina has secured very prestigious local lawyers to join the team representing the family.
We will not be answering any further question at this time regarding Mrs. Short."
Tacopina declined to say who the new local attorneys are.

Kansas City Police Department spokesman Steve Young said he could not discuss investigators interviews with Wright. However, Young did say the man known as "Jersey" has been interviewed and cleared of any involvement in the baby's disappearance.

There will also be no further comments made to the media by either the attorneys, the investigators, or the family. That would include no other "media house tours" or "press conferences". Dumpster near missing Baby Lisa Irwin's home confiscated by police

Kansas City, Mo. - A trash dumpster fire was reported in the area on the night that missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin vanished and one report indicates authorities have now confiscated the large metal container for further examination.
HLN reported Tuesday that the dumpster is likely a significant piece of evidence because of where it sits in relation to Baby Lisa's home and the route where several sitings of a man carrying an infant took place.
According to correspondent Vinnie Politan, taking the route from Baby Lisa's home and heading for the dumpster, one must go past a neighbor's home – the same home where at 12:15 a.m. on the night the girl vanished while looking out the window a woman spotted a man walking down the street wearing a t-shirt carrying a baby

Samantha Brando's husband says he had been a focus for police but passed a polygraph. KCPD police confirm they have "moved on" from the neighbor.
