Here are all the victims of the Las Vegas shooting

They range in age from 20 to 67. They were mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren.

They worked in hospitals, police stations, schools, day cares, restaurants and fishing boats. They were at the Route 91 Harvest festival to celebrate birthdays, wedding anniversaries and a shared love of music.

Newly released video shows a Las Vegas taxi driver transporting six victims from Sunday’s mass shooting on the Strip to the hospital.

Winifredo Maquindang of Yellow Checker Star Transportation was staged at Mandalay Bay when he first heard shots being fired. He quickly entered his cab and shut the door.
Minutes later, victims fleeing the concert site poured into the roadway. A man pleaded with Maquindang to drive to the corner to pick up a man who was shot.

Jason Aldean visits shooting victims at Las Vegas hospital

Country singer Jason Aldean visited University Medical Center on Sunday, just one week after the Oct. 1 shooting that claimed the lives of 58 concertgoers and injured hundreds of others at the Route 91 Harvest festival.

The hospital announced the visit in a post on Facebook. The post stated:


“Our extreme gratitude to Country Music Star Jason Aldean for visiting UMC today. Jason spent time with our patients who were critically injured during the Las Vegas shooting. His visit helped heal hearts and cheer those who were wounded in this tragedy. #vegasstrong.”

Las Vegas Strip marquees will go dark at 10:05 p.m. Sunday for 11 minutes in honor of the 58 victims who were killed during the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest festival, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority said in a statement.
In a Facebook post, the authority stated, “For they are the stars that shine brightest in our hearts” with the hashtag #VegasStrong.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Inside The Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul on Saturday night, the victims of the Las Vegas massacre remained on the parishioners' minds.

Fifty-eight candles lined the front of the church.


"We're going to remember in a special way those 58 people who have died, and all those who have been injured, and all of us who have in some way been affected by this tragedy," Basilica Rector Father Dennis Gill said.
 
Dealership to give truck to veteran who stole one to save victims in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — An auto dealership owner plans to give a pickup truck to Taylor Winston, who helped save people during the Oct. 1 mass shooting along the Las Vegas Strip.

Shane Beus of B5 Motors near Phoenix said he reached out the 29-year-old Marine Corps vet from San Diego to offer him a Ford F-150, The Arizona Republic reported.


Winston previously said he transported about 20 to 30 people who were injured to the hospital; he repeatedly noted how other people made rescues, too.
 
NFL, Players Honor Las Vegas Shooting Victims

Many teams and players around the NFL are paying tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting last week, by donating money, wearing decals and sporting special cleats before Sunday's games.

The Oakland Raiders, who will soon relocate to Las Vegas, will wear a Vegas Strong decals on the back of their helmets honoring the 59 victims and more than 500 injured who were injured when a gunman opened fired at a country music concert.

Country music fans gathered in Chandler on Saturday for a seven-hour benefit concert to support the victims of last weekend's Las Vegas mass shooting.

Hayley Boult and her boyfriend Joel Maze were at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas Sunday night when a shooter opened fire, killing 58 and injuring more than 500 concertgoers.


They were uninjured.


By the time they returned home to Arizona the following night, they had already formulated a plan to give back.

Clark County Commission set up the account to raise money for the victims and their families, and the DJ made his generous donation to the fund on Friday.

"My deepest sympathies are with the victims of this horrific tragedy and their families. It’s my hope that these events will start a long awaited and honest conversation about the importance of gun control in America," he said in a statement.


"Las Vegas is my home, and it’s devastating to see this happen in such a vibrant city with an amazing community of people I consider my family," the 38-year-old added.

No date has been set for when millions of dollars donated for the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting will be distributed, but major steps forward in planning should be taken this week, Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak said Sunday.

A online fundraiser created by Sisolak and Sheriff Joe Lombardo has raised more $10.2 million since the Oct. 1 shooting.


Clark County has partnered with the National Compassion Fund for an ongoing fundraiser, and Sisolak said several hotel-casino companies have pledged millions and are collecting money through their foundations.
