Interesting information from the Namus file:

"A person walking in the Silver Lake State Park area along Lake Michigan came upon a femur bone. Associated with Unidentified NamUs case #12886 from Allegan County, Michigan found 7/31/14."

The associated case is a bit of maxilla that washed ashore a few months later. It has quite a long ruleouts list and though it's listed as male, several of the ruleouts are female names. https://identifyus.org/en/cases/12886

A jaw bone found along Lake Michigan in 2014 was classified as unidentified. Thanks to DNA testing, this month it was confirmed it belonged to a man who disappeared in 2000.

Twenty-two years after a Michigan man disappeared while fishing, it was confirmed that his remains were recovered in 2014.

In 2014, a jaw bone washed up along the Lake Michigan shore in Allegan County's Ganges Township, and was found by a jogger. It had three teeth.

The remains were sent to the University of North Texas, where genealogists matched DNA to relatives of Ronald Wayne Jager.



Both UP12886 and UP11768 have been removed.
