Missing Michigan teen believed to be in Fort Wayne, police say

Leaders of the Shelby Township Police Department in Michigan say they are looking for help finding a missing 16-year-old girl they believe is in the Hoosier state.

Is Mariah's school out for a summer break?
Is she visiting friends in Fort Wayne, Indiana? If so, how did she get there? It's about 200 miles from Shelby Township to Fort Wayne.
Did she live with her family while she was at school in Shelby Twp? Any problems at home, or at school or in the neighborhood, etc.? A meeting with someone she met online? Please "no" on that one.
Hoping she is okay, and hoping she will let her folks know where she is and that she is okay, not in danger, and on her way home.
