GUILTY MN - Jamie Wylie, 31, St Cloud, 9 Dec 2013

Anyone see the full search warrants anywhere yet?

The search warrant indicates that investigators wanted to search Wylie's residence in the days after his disappearance but that Dana Nistler-Wylie refused to allow police to enter the residence. She told investigators that Jamie Wylie didn't have his identification with him. She later told investigators that she had Wylie's wallet but that his identification card was not in it.

The search warrant indicates that investigators found Wylie's wallet at the residence during the Dec. 20 search and that Wylie's ID was inside the wallet.

If family had/has seen them or knew contents that could sure explain why opinions are...differing.

It's very curious. I won't say more as every post I've made on this, except the links and that he was found, have been removed. I seriously thought a named person in msm, as well as direct comments by LE, was discussable. Apparently not.

A man was arrested Thursday morning in Avon as Benton County police believe he is responsible for the killing of the 31-year-old Foley man Jamie Wylie.

Benton County Chief Deputy Troy Heck says 25-year-old Travis McKinney of St. Cloud is currently being held in Benton County Jail and awaiting his first court appearance.

Deputy Heck says the arrest is the result of a long investigation beginning shortly after Wylie was reported missing in December 2013.

McKinney in scheduled to stand trial Aug. 10 in Benton County on charges of first- and second-degree murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm and interfering with a dead body...

McKinney is accused of shooting Wylie twice with a shotgun along a rural Benton County road about 1 mile west of Foley. The complaint says Wylie's body was moved to the area behind Luther Honda in east St. Cloud.

Joshua Smith pleaded guilty this past August.

One of two men charged with murder in the shooting death of Jamie Wylie pleaded guilty Wednesday, telling a judge that he, not his co-defendant who previously had been accused of being the shooter, shot Wylie.

Joshua Lee Smith, 25, pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting intentional second-degree murder. He told Benton County District Court Judge Michael Jesse that he shot Wylie twice in December 2013 on a county road near Foley. Court records and statements from prosecutors previously indicated that investigators believed Travis Michael McKinney had shot Wylie.

McKinney sentenced for Wylie murder

A Benton County judge sentenced Travis Michael McKinney to 18 years in prison Wednesday for his role in the December 2013 shooting death of Jamie Robert Wylie.

McKinney, 27, pleaded guilty in August to aiding an offender after the fact in a plea deal that capped his sentence at 18 years.

McKinney was originally believed to the person who shot Wylie, but co-defendant Joshua Lee Smith pleaded guilty and said he shot the 31-year-old Foley man. Smith was sentenced to slightly less than 33 years in prison.

Jesse called McKinney a "clear danger to society" and someone who can't control his violent and impulsive behaviors. He said this was not a case that was appropriate for mercy, and he sentenced McKinney to the maximum allowed under the terms of the plea agreement.
