Authorities Hope Playing Cards Can Help Crack Cold Case

It's now been eight years since a teenager vanished from Skidmore.

Authorities are using this anniversary of Branson Perry's disappearance to call for your help.

Perry's profile is being printed on a new series of playing cards handed to prison inmates.

It's all part of an effort by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to gather new leads on cold cases.

I find it odd that we dont have any names of the players involved in this case. Who was the female friend that last saw him? What is her name? What was her relationship to him? Who were the two men helping Bronson that day? What was their relationship to Bronson? So many unanswered questions...

What about NecroSearch International?

Law enforcement must invite them to come.
Necro search assistance page for how to contact them.
They have many different ways of searching.
They can come in long after someone has gone missing.

Missing Skidmore Man Would Have Been 29
Wednesday, Feb 24, 2010 @11:57am CST

A Skidmore man missing for nearly nine years would have celebrated a birthday today. Branson Perry would have turned 29-years old. He vanished from his home on April 11, 2001.

Since then, Perry's case has gained national attention. America's Most Wanted featured his search in 2007. His face continues to dot billboards throughout the state and even appears on a deck of playing cards in an attempt to find clues to his whereabouts.

Most-recently, in June 2009, investigators dug up a plot of land in Quitman, Missouri, searching for Perry's body. Investigators say leads continue to trickle in and they follow up on those tips.

"Missing Person cases are difficult for families that are left behind that deal daily with the unknown fate. I hope with our continued efforts we will be able to provide this family with some sort of resolution, that is what we truly hope for", said Monica Caison, founder of CUE (Community United Effort) Center for Missing Persons.

Anyone who comes forth can remain anonymous. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Branson Perry or may have information concerning this case, please contact: Missouri Highway Patrol (816) 387- 2345 or the CUE Center for Missing Persons ' 24 hour line at (910) 232-1687 or visit Branson Perry's personal website to submit a tip directly from that site. All calls are kept confidential.

This is another case where I have to wonder what do the police know that we don't -- I mean -- something is missing in this puzzle -- someone was at home at the time Branson went missing -- two men were in the front yard -- and a friend was the last person to see Branson? Something is missing here -- besides Branson.

I hadn't been home to northwest missouri in a few months but my mom called and told me Becky had passed away. It breaks my heart to know she died without finding and laying Branson to rest.
But now they are together finally. I hope they find peace.
