According to the CC officer who is on the case, there was no CP found at the Dunn house. Whatever the sheriff said, or was reported to have said apparently was not accurate. apparently some *advertiser censored* was found there on various devices/media, but it was regular *advertiser censored*.
Beyond that the only other *advertiser censored* was on the computer at the mothers house. There were ~100k images there, but that was legal *advertiser censored*. Some CP was found in the deleted space of the hard drive later by the FBI, but it would seem that it was not very much, possibly downloaded by accident and deleted. They also were not able to tie it to anyone. Most likely the person who downloaded it was someone who lived at the house (which included at least 2 males, one a teenager). Think about it....who is more likely to be downloading *advertiser censored* on a computer, someone who lives in the same house it is kept in, or someone who lives a hundred kilometers away?
Finally, there was one single image that had been sent to SA's email account on the computer at the grandmothers that appeared similar to the CP found at the mothers house. They didn't say it actually was CP though, so either it wasn't actually pornographic or the age of the person depicted was not clear. But it was a pretty thin stick to say the least.
Any way you look at it the whole "*advertiser censored*" story is pretty dubious, and it appears to be a clumsy attempt to make anything stick to SA. Why is not clear, but perhaps the local LE thought that this was a legitimate tactic to pressure him. But given what we know now, it makes them look pretty foolish and crude IMO. When people wonder why no progress was made in this case, IMO the whole *advertiser censored* episode shows things clearly.
