perhaps they were never supposed to sleepover? Maybe she got delayed collecting them due to an initial row at home where Jason sustained broken nose?

And maybe the children were at one of the neighbours houses socialising with other children in the estate, you know a house of one of those neighbours who was socialising with them during the evening on the lawn. Maybe this was the natural progression of finishing up the social occasion, they all go their separate ways, picking up their children as they go. We know there was a social event but no times have actually been given for it, starting or finishing.

This is something I've been wondering as well...thanks for mentioning it...could it be that TM is telling the truth?

I'm responding to what fido said...he could have walked into the room believing that JC was harming his daughter and then struck him with the bat not realizing that MM had mortally wounded him with the stone...I don't think they have been charged with conspiracy...

Its just a theory. But it doesn't fit with our belief that they took their time before calling 911 in order to get their stories straight. That's why I wondering if anyone had a theory about why stone was not mentioned on 911 call.

It would have only taken seconds to come up with their story, which was pretty feeble. However I expect it took forever to get Molly calmed down, unless she had exhausted herself?
I suspect she was fully briefed on how this call wOULD be used to their advantage.
 
not apropos the case, but this new thread is much easier to work, have choices of dancing figures and it even sent me email notification of new post. I was getting completely lost in the technology before now (v challenged in that area)

I thought this odd too. No there are no direct flights to NC from Ireland. He would have had a flight change enroute. When it's worked out that means he travelled to Ireland approx every 8-10 weeks . If he brought the kids on all these trips they would have missed out on school and he work.

Some of the trips may have been work related, he was working for the same company in the US as he had been in Limerick. I agree that he couldn't possibly have brought the children on all those trips, if he really did make 18 trips.

Would any of these return trips to Ireland be business trips?...wasnt he working for the same company in NC as he was working for in Ireland?...

Yeah some of them must have been work related. He couldn't possibly have had that much time off work
 
I wonder if there were two fights. Maybe TM broke JC's nose earlier. JC went upstairs, angry but not willing to engage a 65 year old man. He takes something to calm down and goes to sleep.

Molly runs out to get the kids and leave but with JC in bed, they decide to wait till morning.

Molly is still seething...gets the bat and the stone and attacks a sleeping JC. Daddy runs upstairs, still angry himself, and seeing that Jason is vulnerable, picks up a weapon and joins in the fight.

Just a theory.

This article has details of events that were witnessed by his sisters. I haven't seen anything to confirm whether or not they acted on any of these concerns as in alerting anyone outside the family. They are quite serious accusations tbh.

I read that some of the trips were to the uk on business and he would then pop over to Ireland for a short visit while in uk. I will try and find link.
 
Yes im guessing it might be incorrect that the children returned to Ireland 18 times. The article link to which had the interview with Jason's brother was from The Irish Times which is a very reliable newspaper and specifically said Jack and Sarah returned home 18 times.

Anyway its only a minor thing.

In relation to trips to ireland molly took with Jason and kids it's never been publicly mentioned how often she came. However she did spend Christmas 2014 in Ireland with them. On a public fb search I came across several photos posted publicly by the university concert hall limerick of members of the audience who attended their Christmas panto and Jason,molly and the kids are in photos with the Lynch's. I don't want to post the photos here as I think that might be against WS rules? However they are easily found.
