I have to admit that I don't know what DSMV means. What does it stand for?

When you see the state's closing y'all will see how well they weave together the entire narrative, using all the points that came up in testimony. Not to worry.

AH was an adult, she was not insane, she knew right from wrong, and she participated in Laura's demise, which is also considered 1st degree murder even if she didn't personally do the actual killing. But wait, there's more! Her own sister said she admitted to killing Laura.

This jury will not believe the made-up stories about her fearing for her life. She had ample opportunities to get help, every step of the way.

AH will be convicted and you can take that to the bank.

There was blood evidence revealed with luminol, but it did not test positive with a confirmatory blood test. There wasn't enough evidence to suggest that someone was dismembered in the bathroom, but it's possible that a plastic sheet was laid down prior to the dismemberment.

This is kinda OT of today's testimony, but I think the prosecution needs to clearly show the H's financials to the jury.

Because it seems AH has all the money and allocates it to GH as needed. We know of one ATM transaction by GH, at the Blue Flower bar, in the early morning on July 14. This was right before his trip to the Brier Creek Walmart to buy the saw.

Most of the other money transactions are AH receiving deposits or $, and then her putting them into accounts and withdrawing at ATM's. I would love to see GH's debit card statement - how much did he have in his account on July 12, and what transactions occurred subsequently?

I think Amanda controlled everything financially. If he was sent out (IMO) to buy a saw, plastic, gloves, etc., she gave him the $ as needed. Then he needed coolers, she probably transferred more $ to him or gave him more cash. She funded all of his spending. I think she held him on a tight leash and knew and controlled everything.

I really believe she ran the show, and she sure as heck wasn't going to fund child support for GH's baby mama.

Oooooh good observation! And Grant, I remember from his trial, kind of fluctuating, sometimes unemployed, sometiimes employed here and there. And Amanda IIRC came from a relatively wealthy family?

That makes a lot of sense, that she already had to support Grant and their baby, and now she has to give "her" money to this pesky ex-wife. Who she probably thought was just going to waste it.

I think AM is smarter than we all believe. She was already starting to formulate her defense if required on that Wed morning before they left KB's house. Prior to the "Look me in the eye" conversation, she had been advised by Matthew Guddat that LE had picked Sha up for questioning, she knew LE was onto them. AH hired a PI wanting to know what evidence there was against them, AH was the brains in this outfit not GH. I believe & hope that the women on that jury will come to the conclusion that the cleaning of the bathroom was meticulous & it was done by a woman. If the jury can be convinced that AH had some hand in the clean up of the apartment then her whole defense story is shown to be what it is , total bs.

And just think, where did they take the body - to Texas to Amanda's sister's house. Now, I'm not saying that was only her idea, but I bet it was mostly her idea, seeing as it's her sister. I suppose Grant could have told her, let's take the body there. But it just makes me think that Amanda was the one who said, let's take it to my sister's, they live in kind of a woodsy area, by the creek, etc., etc.. Because we know that Grant had never been to her sister's place before. Only Amanda would know what kind of location it was in.

I'm sure this type saw would also make (please excuse) splatter, etc., but prolly not as much as a chain saw. They would have still have had quite a clean-up. I don't know how loud they are, but some loud music would prolly help disguise it, at least.

I too, aa, would like to know where that saw is... prolly at the bottom of a dumpster or a body of water somewhere between here and Texas.

Ugh. Thanks for the picture. I don't think any jury member would for one minute think this woman is innocent or brainwashed or whatever. I'm sorry, I haven't watched this case so I don't even know what her defense is. But probably something like, he made me do it. Which no jury member is gonna believe that. They go to HER sister's house, they have pictures of HER dumping the acid, as the poster said, SHE was giving him money for the purchases. I am thinking this jury will also only take an hour to come to a verdict.

I do NOT like her. Yes, she is the one that determined Grant had "illogical, disturbed thinking" and other psychological problems and at the same time recommended JOINT custody....which would have continued to put Laura in harms' way each and every time she had to exchange kids with him not to mention interact and deal with him. WHY would a professional recommend that? terrible and what we need to change with the system. Thank god my divorce was in Canada and the professional there that identified my ex-husband/kids' Dad with the same traits gave me SOLE custody so I wouldn't have to deal with him jointly on a continual basis.

As I was following her testimony, my feelings about Dr. Calloway went back and forth, based on what she was saying. Now that I've had time to think back, I remember that she did most of Laura's analysis in the early stages (before Grant pulled the financial plug). It seems to me that Laura was working very hard to make progress in her parenting skills. She had gotten a mentor from her church and had started to develop a support system as Calloway had recommended. The fact that she had a picture of the boys with Grant in their bedroom was just a tiny bit of her progress.

Grant's evaluation came towards the end. After hearing her report on him, I was devastated. Grant, as we already knew, is one very sick man.

When asked if she made her decision to include Laura's safety, Calloway quickly answered that her decision was made as to the best interest of the children.

Humbug! The best interest of the children was, as you say so well, to live in a stable environment away from Crazy Grant and his Stepford Wife.
