neighbors being questioned about handyman

"Jersey." Wow. Yesterday it was Wild Bill, and now, Jersey. This resembles a B-movie film script more and more.

i am afraid of what tomorrow will bring. WTH is going on in this case? :ufo:

when under a year gender rarely matters as much.

Not a murder because the family let him stay but still, infant pedophilia is not as rare as some think. They want the power to destroy innocence and don't have the nerve to face bigger kids imo

But infant pedophilia is rare. I actually studied this is class not that long ago. It is rare and most cases are male/male child. Female infants would be even more rare. Pedophiles statistically go after male children. Child pornographers will go after male and female children. But an infant being used in this capacity is rare. Another thing, most cases where an infant is sexually abused ( I am lumping that into infant pedophilia for this convo) are abused by a mothers boyfriend, not a stranger. If this case turns out this way, they got hit with every rare statistic that is possible. I dont even want to think of that with this poor baby.

I did read in an earlier article where one of the neighbors said they had seen this "handyman" in the neighborhood. Neighbor also commented that he was a stranger. Ummm...okay. But was he a stranger to everyone in the neighborhood? How do they know he was a handyman? Was he going around knocking on doors to see if anyone had any odd jobs they needed help with? Did he ask DB and JI is they wanted work done? What's the connection here?

Yes there are very sick people in the world but this just doesnt make sense. It would only make sense if the mom knew this man, JMO.

how do we know he wasn't on the property doing some work or mowing the grass? Or working NEXT to the property and saw this innocent little girl and decided to take her. I think it is at least as likely as a devoted mom killing her child and hiding the body.

So I saw a video interview with an older man, a neighbor, who describes a 'homeless' man who was walking around the neighborhood the week baby Lisa went missing. Is this supposed to the the same man as the handyman?

I just asked essentially the same question before i read your post.

I saw that same interview. Is the man wandering the neighborhood the same man that got kicked out of the bar?

Duncan stalked and killed the whole family to get the Groene children. Jessica Lunsford, Riley Fox, etc. Just a few examples of course but look at what LE put the families through.

Whatever happened with the 2:30am phone call Mom was supposed to have made? Anyone know?

I think this little girl looked like a baby not a little girl Pedophile could think she was whatever he wanted from looks. Now if she met his needs as well we don't know but there would be nothing off putting from looks.

I wonder what all the women I know who were abused by male pedophiles would say to the studies that it is rare..

Snipped:

Norval C. Nichols, who lives about a block from Lisa’s home, said that police showed him a photograph last week of the homeless man and asked about any possible connection to the missing child. Nichols described the homeless man as being in his 20s, with brownish blond hair and a clean appearance. The man once was seen in the neighborhood riding a red bicycle, he said.

Nichols said he also saw the man about a week or two before Lisa was reported missing but not afterward. The two men spoke briefly at a nearby park weeks ago. The man told Nichols that he was looking for a job or any handy jobs in the neighborhood.

“He made me feel real uncomfortable,” Nichols said. “Something was not right, so I eased off from him.”

Nichols said he recognized the man when police showed him the photograph.

I'm assuming it's the same man. But how does the neighbor know he's homeless? How does anyone know he's a handyman unless he actually spoke to people? And why would this guy take the baby of a complete stranger if he can't even support himself? I don't get it. :waitasec:

Once again I am not blaming this mother but it would be more common for the mother to kill her own infant than a strange man killing her or taking her. Its a disgusting thought but it is more common. And we dont know if she was a devoted mom, we dont know if she was a bad mom, we know nothing about her really other than what we see on TV and what we hear on TV and in the news.

You are correct. It does not make the news as no one wants to report about it. These cases also generally get picked up by the Feds so there is no public file to view. There is probably at least 1 or 2 cases in everyone on here's hometown at this minute. The only way you would know about it is to work in the field. The larger towns have many more going on. Daily.

As far as "Jersey", lol, I guess they know what town to do some criminal background checking in. If he did anything and took off, he may never return to this area.

Has there been any clearer news about him yet? (This case is eeking out bits of nothing that are turning into distractions.)

Other KC media "missing handyman" article in last couple days:
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police have not released any information about a potential suspect in the disappearance of 10-month-old Lisa Irwin, but a neighbor, who did not want to appear on camera, said investigators have questioned him about a man who has been seen riding his bike in the neighborhood.

The neighbor said authorities brought a picture of a man to his door and asked him if he had seen him.

He told police that he had seen the man, who he described as in his 20s, riding a bike and carrying a backpack.

The neighbor, who has lived in the neighborhood for 40 years and says he knows all of its residents, said he is sure the man does not live close by and was suspicious of the man even before Lisa disappeared.

Source for above is unnamed; however, Norval C. Nichols was also interviewed and referred to by name in this article, so it wasn't him.

I do have to ask this question though. Why would a homeless man, handyman, whatever we want to call him want with this baby. I just cant see that being the case. I think they should go ahead and look into it of course but I find it hard to believe he would have anything to do with it and I do hope he comes forward if that is the case. I know I said this before, but statistically men do not kidnap babies, and if, lets see if he was a pedophile, he would have went after one of the boys, because once again statistically pedophiles are attracted to little boys more than girls and usually around the age of her other boys. This doesnt add up for me unless once again we go back to the theory that the mother had something to do with this and she was working along with this guy. I can buy the theory from above that she might have been with him and he disposed of Lisa's body for the mom and then high tailed it out of there. Otherwise, he should come forward.

Could he have heard of a family willing to pay for a baby, and took her hoping to make some money? A newborn would make much more sense than a 10 month-old, but maybe he was desperate. There are some things that don't fit into this scenario, like the missing cell phones and the fact it was JI's first night shift, but I would much rather think she's safe somewhere than a victim of pedophilia.

None of those children were infants, the youngest was Riley who was like 3 years old. Those are all horrid horrid cases, I cannot imagine. I am just saying it is not common for an infant to go missing unless it is a woman who takes the baby or its a family member who kills the baby. Its odd for a stranger to take a baby out of the house, especially a male stranger..

As far as those phone calls go, I have no idea. I think we just still have the same information as before, that supposedly it was used at that time. I dont even know if thats for sure. Would love to know because I feel like those phone are the glue that is needed to hold this case together or to solve it.

He could also have heard of a creep who wanted an infant :(

I don't think this "handyman" had anything to do with Lisa's Vanishing; IF he did the Stars were lined up for him that night.

Everything that night was just too perfect for it all to be one big coinsidence.
