Missing Teen Abigail Hernandez: Cops Hoping for Another Letter
Police say they are "not giving up" hope of finding missing New Hampshire teen Abigail Hernandez, despite exhausting the best lead they had in the case -- a letter from the teen to her mom.
Authorities said Friday that the letter Hernandez sent her mom, postmarked weeks after she disappeared, was a "critical lead for law enforcement."
"It was one of the most tangible leads we had in this investigation and we wanted to take every step we could to follow through on that letter to try to find Abby," said New Hampshire Assistant Attorney General Jane Young at a press conference.

Parents share what makes Abigail a special girl
Abigail Hernandez is a bright young writer and photographer who once tried unsuccessfully with her parents' help to get one of her stories published. And she is a big Beatles fan.
Her father, Ruben Hernandez, said she is also a Christian.
"What I can tell you about her has to start with her best quality. And that's the person that she is," Hernandez wrote to the New Hampshire Union Leader after being asked for comment about his daughter's personality and favorite activities.
