Most of the time when I hear (read) people dicussing how much a composite looks like the real person I am confused because when I look at it I won't see any resemblence unless I really use my imagination. However, with this composite - it really does look like Laureen. Was this ever emailed to LE?

By all means, please do - heck, I probably should have done more back then!! Laureen has always been one of my special cases, even before my wonderful WS's...just seems like she is out there somewhere waiting to be found, no matter what the outcome. I always think of her mother.......

I sent Rocky Wells at the Doe Network and email to see if the possible match has been ruled out. Both the UID and Laureen's case are also on the Doe Network. I looked to see who to contact at the Orange County Sheriff's Dept and I didn't see an email address, (I didn't want to call, I was afraid I would sound stupid, so that is why I decided to email Rocky) I will let you all know what I hear.

I do not know if Law Enforcement has looked at it.

I know we did and decided not to submit it becaus there are just to many differences..like hair and eye color.....etc

I emailed him back to see if I should contact Law Enforcement anyway? I know sometimes that discriptives can be wrong - maybe the eye color on the UID was wrong....I just see a striking resemblence.....Even though its a 7 year gap from when Laureen went missing to when the UID was found.

THanks chaddy. Sometimes you have to pursue it anyway because Charleyproject ruling it out could lose a potential lead. They could be wrong.

I completely agree with that. This seems like too much of a likeness to rule it out, regardless of a couple of things not matching.

I thought about Laureen in connection with this guy who was murdered in California. He was an amateur pornographer and after cops arrived at the crime scene they found an 18yr old girl bound and gagged in the closet. She claimed that Vasily had kidnapped her and forced her to make *advertiser censored* with him. Several other women came forward during the investigation to say that they had answered a personals ad and were held, drugged and raped and then Vasily produced the movies to sell as *advertiser censored*.

I wonder if he has any connection to Annie Sprinkle?

Also - do we know the full name of Dr. Z? I ask because I see ads all the time in the NYC subway for a Dr. Z who is plastic surgeon specializing in feet and dermatology.

Some interesting comments on that article. Laureen's mom commented and she feels her daughter is still alive and was chloroformed due to mistaken identity with another girl down the street who was possibly involved with drugs. Another poster, who sounds a bit suspicious, believes he knows the truth about Laureen and that she is dead and her body is close to home. Really, really odd case.

Today's news state that bones were found in a Brown Shoe in Merrimack when cleaning and floated in from NH from a treatment plant. Wonder if possible it is Laureen?
