GUILTY NJ - ACPD Officer Shot (in Critical Condition), 1 Suspect Dead, Sept 2016 *arrests*

Okay. I have been to A.C since the 80s.

And I have always noticed that everything across the street from the boardwalk and up was nothing but drugs and whatever else. Jmo.

But I'm just so surprised that the state allowed these drug and poor activities so close to the boardwalk to continue for decades. Jmo

"The officer was critically injured, and one suspect is dead. Family members have identified the deceased as 25-year-old Jerome Damon."

"Investigators now, want to talk to a hand full of men."
I wonder if the first guy (the guy on our right) in the second group is/was Jerome Damon?

It probably won't be too hard to identify the people, especially if the dead guy is among them

I went once about ten years ago for a girls' weekend. We couldn't walk twenty yards without being asked if we were call girls or wanting to buy drugs. I didn't think we looked the part for either. Never felt safe there at all. Never again.

The investigation revealed that 3 of the men had been victims of an armed robbery committed by the other three men: the deceased man, and two others. The 3 robbery victims cooperated with police, and have been released, no longer detained for investigation by police.

Both arrests happened without incident, and the men were transferred to the custody of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The layers, hat and happy gentlemen, the second group, were being robbed, so all good, now (i'm guessing hopefully right)

“Josh’s recovery so far is remarkable. We went from a conservative 50/50 almost two weeks ago to now he is sitting up, speaking and remembers the whole incident,” said Capt. Chris Kammerman, who oversees the Police Department’s Patrol Division.

Dr. Jorge Eller, chief of neurosurgery at Atlanticare’s City Campus, said Vadell suffered a gunshot wound to the right parietal lobe of his brain.

“Luckily, it was an injury he was able to survive, and he was actually talking when he reached the hospital,” Eller said. “He’s young enough and healthy enough to withstand an injury like this and make an amazing recovery.”

On the first day of court Thursday, the Chief Assistant Prosecutor told the jury in his opening statement that although Damon was the one with the gun, Chisolm and Cross were both equally responsible for the robbery and shooting of Vadell because they were accomplices, planning to rob three men at gunpoint in an alley behind Ruby Tuesday’s, emptying their pockets and watching out for police.
