After two hours of deliberations, Augello, 62, was found guilty Tuesday on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, first-degree drug racketeering, and first-degree leading a drug trafficking network. James Kauffman killed himself in jail this past January, shortly after he and Augello were arrested.
Ferdinand “Freddy” Augello, 62, a sign maker and retired member of the Pagans from Upper Township, was found guilty of the murder. He was as sentenced to life plus 30 years in state prison with 55 years of parole ineligibility.
Three judges handed down the ruling on April 20 that the trial of Ferdinand ‘Freddy’ Augello, 65, of Petersburg, was fair and impartial, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced Monday.
Beverly Augello got concurrent five-year sentences for conspiracy and drug possession, but her sentence was suspended.
There are two others that I'll check into later, but it appears that the justice system is not eager to send anyone to prison.
