Identified! NV - Douglas Co., Skeletal remains near Spooner Lake Jun'14 - Ryan Osburn

Good to see such a nice, thorough Case File.

Here are the missing Northern Nevada males of the right age, as far back as 2005, currently on findthemissing.org, along with my comments (moo obviously)

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/23360/11/
Marcus Moreland: height is good but his shaved hair doesnt fit with the UID

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/10130/19/
Donald Schambers (this case is creepy to me because his name is 1 letter from my father's name, who also lives in Reno and is close to the same age): he seems a bit too short and a bit too old and frail for the circumstances of this John Doe

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/23031/26/
Gordon Brehm: height is right on, age is a bit off and IMO the circumstances of John Doe dont fit Brehm's story

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/25274/27/
Mark Hill: a decent fit for age, height and circumstances. Even the time gap could be explained simply by Hill's lifestyle as a homeless person

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/11563/32/
David Williams: if he is really 60 inches tall, then he is definitely not our 70 inch JD

Douglas Henry: seems like a decent match. He even has a gun that is still missing. However, his car was found at Boundary Peak which is about 4 hours away.

Robert Freeh: also a good match, but he has been missing since 2005.

Right, I saw that, but I also know that NamUs doesn't always update in an exact timely manner.
I have seen cases where the people were found, but it listed them as still missing on NamUs.
IMOO.

True, but most of the time that's all we have to go by.

The article posted above also indicates the DNA won't be ready for a few weeks.

Which article is that?
The link from post#14 from August 20th article mentions 12 to 16 weeks.
From August 20 until now is over 18 weeks.
Is there an updated article?

My bad, I thought Tulessa had posted a pointer to a new article. Should have read more carefully. Yes, DNA should be available soon. I assume that the holidays would delay getting things out...
