Edwards AFB is in the Los Angeles area, just north of Bill Edward Paulson's hometown of Lancaster, CA.

Yes, found him on the North American Missing site and posted with pic a couple pages back. He was one of about 4-5 that seemed a possible fit when I went through that site (and that weren't listed yet).

Don't know much more about these guys than what has been described in the various Missing sites we've gone through. I've not found a thread on here for either Paulson or Duenas; haven't checked Summers yet.

ETA: I suspect we're in the slow wait stage now...
 
Summers might not be too hard to rule out because of the dentals. However, he could have had a complete set of teeth when he disappeared from his navy leave and lost some in the 10 years between 1982-1992 and still have them heal nicely, as LE has described. If that's the UID. The navy might offer convenient and budget/friendly root canals, too.
 
I think the detectives are busy working on other cases right now but the hair analysis should be back soon. We really have done some great work here (IMO) and I believe we are close to helping identify this man. I imagine LEO will be working on our list during the weekends or evenings when they have some time.

I have no intent here to derail this thread, but you folks were so good at identifying the t-shirt here, that I thought I'd ask you to take a look at another one. There is no tag in this shirt for the UID. There is a WS thread for her here as well. Just google the file number for the WS thread.

Here is a link to the UID thread for 720UFMA Owutatangledweb mentions above. I am curious to see what our members come up with on her case. Maybe while we wait for the detectives to rule some of these names out and narrow the list this young lady's case could benefit from fresh eyes.

I didn't see that the word "link" was in blue when I read this post so I went on a big search to find the thread you were referring to. It wasn't until I was replying that I realized it. LOL

Anyway, I don't think anyone else would miss the different color but just in case, I am adding the actual link in my post. Hope you don't mind.

The shirt has an unusual collar with the swan looking bird on front which should make it easier to track down. Picture is at post #93.

One of those MP's that Poirotry came up with? He evidently hung out with the Bandidos motorcycle gang. The Bandidos are the group which perpetrated the brawl in Texas over the weekend.

Whitfield's hair sure is red! He's got a lot of teeth, though. I suppose it's possible teeth could have been lost after he went missing with enough time to heal by the early '90's.
