I'm surprised that she would move his body to a location that can be connected to her. Maybe surprised isn't the right word.

I hope Adam's family is able to make peace with this, nobody should have to experience this sort of pain.

Finally a good PI that helped police out and did a good job, or so it seems.

Not to undersell her, but I can't help but wonder if the new boyfriend was involved, at least after the fact. It takes a lot to be able to move & dismember your deceased husband. JMO.

Povero said information provided Thursday by a private investigator hired by Mr. Chase’s family led the sheriff’s office to search Adam and Rose’s Mott Road home, as well as the property at 4675 Hagerty Road in Potter, Yates County. Povero said that remains found at the property in Potter, which is owned by Rose’s mother, are being examined by forensic specialists.

Grand Jury Results For Rose Chase To Be Announced

The results of the Ontario County grand jury proceeding involving Rose Chase will be announced Friday, February 8th in Ontario County Court.

This case is a great example of the value of a PI in addition to local LE. I hope that the Grand Jury doesn't let him down. It seems like there is enough to proceed though. I'm definitely interested in seeing how this is resolved.

Rose Chase, 31, has been charged with second-degree murder, tampering with evidence and endangering the welfare of a child.

Chase remains in the Ontario County Jail on $100,000 bail. She will return to court on May 2nd.

Wait this lady is claiming she dismembered him and cremated him all by herself? She also left her son in the car with his decomposing father?!? It's very difficult to dismember a body without any medical skills. It's also sad that she kept his body in the basement and no one noticed. Something sounds fishy to me.... IMO.

Chase supposedly asked Investigator Drake how she could go about filing for divorce if her husband was considered &#8220;missing.&#8221; Drake told the court that she should speak with a lawyer or legal aide about that. He also said that she asked how she could sell his motorcycle for money.
