You are a great friend to keep her in the spotlight. If her husband is not doing it, then you should do what you can. I am so glad you have started to post here. I'm so sorry for you personal loss of a good friend.

I would like to ask for the help of everyone on this board...:slap:

The company, Cogeco Cable is still unwilling to cooperate with authorities....After a post on Audrey's guestbook about getting a petition together I thought that we should start writing to this company.


Dear Cogeco Cable,
I am writing in hopes that you may help resolve a lead that was tracked back to your company regarding the case of U.S. missing woman, Audrey May Herron.
In October 2004 a subsriber to your company posted as Audrey on her website. Since doing so both LE here in NY & authorities there in Canada have tried to retrieve that subscriber's name to put an end to the thought of it actually being Audrey. You have refused this plea due to the privacy issues of your company.
There is a family here & children, Audrey's children, who hold out hope that this will lead us to Audrey. What your company is doing for the sake of someone's privacy is cruel. You have stated in papers therein that you have spoken to the subscriber but are still unwilling to reveal them to authorities. If in fact this person is Audrey or even if it not, I am begging you to please cooperate & help us put an end to what seems to be another journey of heartache & anguish for this family to go through. And for what? The privacy of a person who thought it to be "funny" to claim they were this missing mother of three?
I am appealing to you as a human, not a company. I am begging you to help us put an end to this unknowing nightmare. This latest lead in her case has brought the family more undue stress & grief not needed.
Think to yourselves how it would feel if it was your daughter, mother, wife or friend. Would you not plead for the same. This family has suffered through almost 3 years of hell. Do you really think the privacy issue is that important?
Regardless, either way, I beg of you to release the information needed to bring closure to this. Thank you for your time.

Thanks Gardenmom. We have had a few people write letters for us so far. Wish we could get more. When following the link provided just use technical support link to send your e-mail. They also have a mailing address as well.

I'll send one. By freestanding I'm assuming it is meant like a small pillar candle?
 
Correct. You would not want to send a tapered candle, for example, as that would require a holder. A thicker based candle would be better, as a lightweight one would topple over easily.

So far we are up to 19 people that have posted they will be sending their candles for Audrey. I have not gotten any by mail but there is a reason they call it "snail mail". Will post as soon as one arrives.

Ariel whenever I see your name I think about one of my missing girls, her name is Ariel Livesey. I have hardly any info about her so I thought I'd let you know her name so you can keep your namesake in your prayers. She's been missing from the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia since 2003.
