The "Great Gatsby" murder victim's boyfriend left incriminating clues that could tie him to the tragic mom's death, authorities have told her family.
While Edgar Sanchez has not confessed to the grisly crime, "sometimes, criminals do other things that are better than confessions," a detective cryptically told victim Lisa Parisi's family.
Parisi's grieving relatives today prepared to bury the 24-year-old mom, whose battered body was dumped earlier this month near the famed Lands End mansion in Sands Point, L.I., that is said to be the inspiration for Daisy Buchanan's home in F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby."

While Long Island cops were hunting the boyfriend of Gold Coast murder victim Elisabeth Parisi last week, the fugitive was holed up in Ohio with a stranger he conned with a bogus sob story, the Daily News has learned.
Edgar Sanchez, 34, was picked up Friday and will be brought back to New York for questioning in the death of Parisi, whose battered body was found Oct. 15, dumped in a mansion-dotted Long Island neighborhood.
Before his arrest, Sanchez persuaded an Ohio man, Jose (Pappa) Ortiz-Torres, 28, to take him in for a night, claiming he was a crime victim.
He said he walked from Cleveland to the town of Geneva, some 40 miles, after "people hit him over the head and robbed his car," said Bartolo Torres, 52, a friend of Ortiz-Torres.
Sanchez, who was wearing slippers, also told the two pals his name was Albert and that he had spent Wednesday night in jail after reporting the robbery to police.
Torres thought the story sounded fishy and chastised his buddy for turning over his bed to Sanchez on Thursday night.
Still, the next day Torres agreed to drive Sanchez to a Western Union at the Clark Mini-Mart, where Sanchez said his sister was wiring him cash.
While they were parked outside the minimart, a police car pulled up and Sanchez insisted they leave. A few blocks away, cops caught up to them and arrested Sanchez.
