Still Missing: Jamel Williams, east Toledo
TPD says one of their social media goals this year is to highlight long-term missing people.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Police say one of their social media goals for the year is to highlight and bring public attention to long-term missing people.
On Monday, the department posted on Facebook a picture of Jamel Williams, who went missing when he was three years old on May 25, 1994.

Still Missing: On May 25 1994, 3 year-old Jamel Williams was reported missing by his mother. Jamel was last seen playing on the rear steps of his mother's apartment on the east side of Toledo when she went inside to change her baby's diaper.
Williams was reported missing by his mother, who said Jamel was playing on the rear steps of their east Toledo apartment when she went inside to change her baby's diaper.
When she came back out, Jamel's mother said Jamel was gone and never seen or heard from again.
Police say Williams' mother had moved into the apartment in April, and neighbors reported never actually seeing Jamel from the time the Williams' moved in.
At the time of his disappearance, Jamel had blonde hair and blue eyes. He is a biracial male and would be almost 30 years old today.
TPD says the missing people they will be posting have been missing for longer than a year and will be posted on the anniversary of the date that they were reported missing.
"Social media has the power to spread information and alert people who, years ago, may not have been able to be reached," TPD said in the Facebook post.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
