Found Deceased OH - Jordan Rodriguez, 5, Cleveland, 22 Sept 2017 *Arrest*

Cleveland police officers searched the home of Larissa Maria Rodriguez, 34, Monday, Dec. 18, but returned on Tuesday. They are acting on a tip that Larissa's 5-year-old son is buried in the backyard of 1361 West 80th Street.

Ana and Michelle Rodriguez say they called police and Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services months ago about their nephew.

They claim the little boy was being abused and no one would help them.

The aunts also say the child has special needs, could not talk and mom's boyfriend, Christopher Rodriquez, would constantly beat the child. He is currently locked up in the Medina County Jail.

Larissa, who was taken into custody but has not been charged, told police her son has been in Texas with his father since Dec. 2.

Police have not been able to verify mom's story.

Cleveland Police and the FBI have found a body Tuesday in the back yard of a house at 1361 W. 80th Street, according to cleveland.com. It is not yet known if it is the body of Jordan Rodriguez, 5, who was reported missing by his mother, Larissa Maria Rodriguez.

From the article:

Human remains consistent with those of a young child were found at the house on the 1360 block of West 80th Street on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

When investigators received the initial tip on Monday they found the home to be filthy. An affidavit described the house as "deplorable and unsanitary" and filled with rats and cockroaches. One of the woman's children was seen eating a sandwich with cockroaches in it, according to court documents.

The Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services removed five children, ages one to 12, from the home. The affidavit states the children were in "immediate danger," due to the conditions of the home and the investigation involving the mother.

That thread is about the skeletal remains of a male child found dumped in Cleveland.

I feel convinced in my mind that there is an extremely strong familial resemblance, too strong to ignore considering the similarity of the cases and the geographical proximity.

Please tell me welfare checks will be done on all the children from that family and checks to ensure the cases aren't related. I suppose I'm wrong, but I can't believe the similarities and coincidences at work here if there's no connection.
