Here's an interesting story about the bust of an interstate MJ trafficking ring in Ohio. No indication its related to the Rhoden murders, but it provides more insight into the nature of MJ trafficking:
Three charged in interstate drug ring; 100 pounds of marijuana, $1 million seized

Is the MJ moving from California because so many grow ops have been shut down in Ohio? Or is it just Mexican growers still competing with local grows? I'm no expert on this, but have many questions. I'm also still keeping an open mind about connections between Pike County and gangs in the north - Detroit, Chicago, etc. Also keeping in mind the Mexican cartels are still active in Ohio.

Investigators said Amer Jabir transported large amounts of marijuana from California to Chicago, and dropped off a portion of it in Chicago. The rest of it came to Cleveland and Detroit, according to federal investigators.
Ahmad Jabir and Abdelrahim served as dealers, officials said.
Following the arrest of the three men over 100 pounds of marijuana and over $1 million dollars in cash were seized at locations in Chicago and North Olmsted.
