Heather Tackett says she didnt know who the person was behind the Insane Clown Posse mask, standing with a knife over her 17-year-old son in her Prairie Township living room just after 4 a.m. on Sunday.
She screamed at the intruder, clutching her boyfriends .38 revolver. Tackett fired one shot, she recalled, before the intruder fled through her backyard.
It wasnt until hours later on Sunday afternoon that Franklin County deputies came to her house and she discovered the person shed shot was a teenage boy whod been friends with her son. She had fed him dinner; hed stayed overnight in her home.

Franklin County detectives say four teens plotted to burglarize a home in Galloway and now, one is dead and the three others are charged with his murder.
Shortly after five Sunday morning, 18-year-old Adam Pickens dialed 911. Hello, I have a shot friend... I don't want to get him in trouble. I don't know how it happened. He came in the front door, to be honest, he came in the front door with a gun wound and we are trying to stop the bleeding, and he is lying on the floor and I dont know what happened, I think he is dying and I would like some help please...
Sherriff Zach Scott says Pickens tried to make up a story during the 911 call because he didnt know what to do. Those decisions, Scott says, sealed their fate. They went out to commit a crime and someone got killed and they were trying to cover their tracks and, during this time period, somebody dies.
