"The name is Trevin Sanders i have been through alot in m life time i have been locked up nd lot nd done things tht aint the best but it whatever judge me if you want to ..." and then it goes in to some profane rambling.

He sounds like a real winner. :furious::furious::furious: It looks like most of his friends are or have been "locked up".

Maybe she's in protective custody as a witness?

Or maybe Trevin dressed up as a woman to commit the crime.
Knock on the door, woman is less intimidating than a man...
Once door is open... they barge in.

It'd help if we knew WHY they were so sure it was a man and a woman.
I was thinking a witness who saw them at the home.

First Court Appearance In Double Homicide Case For One Of The Accused

Mercer County police arrested the two suspects a couple weeks ago, but Monday 22-year-old Bryant Rhoades was in a Mercer County court room.

He remains in the Mercer County jail on a $3.5 million bond for felony obstruction of justice, for allegedly lying to police about his involvement in the double murder.

Rhoades, along with 18-year-old Trevin Sanders, is accused of murdering 70-year-old Robert Grube and his daughter 47-year-old Colleen Grube in their Fort Recovery, Ohio home in 2011.

Rhoades and Sanders, both of Union City, Ohio broke into the Grube's home and shot them in the head before ransacking the place.

Trevin Sanders, the man accused of pulling the trigger, was being held in the Michigan City, Indiana jail for committing another crime.

Authorities plan to transfer Sanders to the Mercer County, Ohio jail soon to prepare for his court appearance.

Prosecutors in Mercer County were hoping that the cases against two men charged in the murders of Robert and Colleen Grube would be nearly wrapped up this week. Trevin Sanders-Roark, who had pleaded guilty in February to two counts of aggravated murder was due to be sentenced on Thursday, and the other man, Bryant Rhoades was considering a plea deal with a hearing scheduled on Tuesday.

However on Tuesday, Rhoades pleaded guilty to one count of obstructing justice, in connection with false statements he made to investigators, but the plea deal on the murder charges fell apart after negotiations failed between the prosecution and the defense.

One of the men found to have been involved in a brutal 2011 double-homicide was sentenced to life without parole on Tuesday...

On Tuesday, Rhoades re-entered his guilty pleas to two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of robbery and two counts of aggravated burglary. He was sentenced immediately following the re-entry of his guilty plea.

Trevin M.A. Sanders Roark also pleaded guilty to murder for the deaths of the Grubes... According to previous communication with the the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, he could face life in prison without parole. No sentencing date has been set for Sanders Roark.

They knew it was a male and a female because they found DNA. The two in prison currently, do not match the DNA found at the crime scene and investigators stopped trying to find a DNA match when these two were arrested. The killers are still out there. Mercer County is refusing to test the woman's DNA using genetic genealogy, or even run it in any databases.

DNA is how they knew it was a man and a woman. Neither person in prison matches the DNA. And they refuse to try to find a match for the DNA profiles they have. One of the guys in prisons lawyer offered to pay for it to be tested and prosecutor said no. Both murderers are still free.

Maybe she's in protective custody as a witness?

According to sheriff, the alleged murderers currently in prison for this crime said they killed her but sheriff never confirmed that to be true, just decided not to try to find a DNA match to identify her with the DNA she left at this crime scene to figure out who this "missing dead girl" who was involved in a murder and supposedly a murder victim herself. Still to this day they refuse to run her DNA with updated technology. Bryant Rhoades lawyer offered to pay the bill for Mercer County to use parabon nanolabs & genetic genealogy to find the identity of this woman and Mercer county prosecutor said no.
