Circumstances of Recovery Found by an individual mowing the grass behind Walmart. Surveillance video of the probable decedent was located based by LE. Based on all factors, LE feels confident that the individual observed in the video is the decedent. The photo attached is from this video.

I've submitted the following cases to NamUs.

I believe Timothy W. Ward Sr resembles the unidentified man in the still image but their timelines are very tight. Probably too tight to be a match.

If Ward's date of last contact is correct, his body had approximately 51 days (best case scenario) during the optimal summer months to skeletonize to the state his body was found in.

It would be interesting to know the date the still image was taken.

Possible, he would have had to get to Chandler, though. Being without a car and intoxicated would even make hitchhiking hard. The resemblance is uncanny, though. Optimal conditions could make someone skeletonize within 50 days, but the distance makes me wonder.
