Why feel rotten? This is further proof to me that I am right when I say these "things" are fundamentally defective and cannot be fixed. Life in prison or execution for child molesters on first offense is fine with me - get them out of circulation.

I agree . WHat is it going to take to have stiffer penalties on these pervs? Perhaps if a congressman or other high ranking official has a child or grandchild molested by one of these monsters, then and only then will we get soemthing done. Oh wait. Those high ranking officials have tight security and the best as far as protection. WHat about us 'regular" people and our babies? I guess our children are expendable. I am tired of this. I like the idea of blinding these pervs. Better yet, lets blind them and stick them all out on Alcatraz for the rest of their lives. If they want to have sex and perversions, let them find each other to do it to. Leave OUR babies ALONE!! We need tougher and longer laws. WHy do these pedophiles keep getting out?

Sand Springs Lawmaker Wants Death For Repeat Child Molesters

TULSA, OK -- A state lawmaker from Sand Springs wants repeat child molesters to face the death penalty. Representative Rex Duncan plans to introduce legislation that would allow the death penalty for sentencing if someone is convicted of a sex crime involving children more than once. The announcement comes on the heels of the arrest of Marcus Berry, Senior, a two-time sex offender who avoided jail time despite being accused of failing to register.

Laws enforcement officials say a loophole in state law saved Marcus Berry,Senior, from going to jail for failing to register as a sex offender. And, it looks like that loophole is about to close.

Beginning on November 1st, if a sex offender can't provide an address they have to report to law enforcement once a week to let them know where they will be staying.

Randy Lopp of the Oklahoma Coalition for Sex Offender Management says the sex offender registration laws actually do more harm than good. He says they prevent sex offenders from recovering and getting stability in their lives.

"We've got to figure out ways to help them find stable living so that they can register, so they can be in compliance," said Randy Lopp with the Oklahoma Coalition for Sex Offender Management.

Well that's just lovely. How many of these pervs are falling through the cracks because they don't have a permanent home address? And if they don't have a home address, they cannot be tracked!

Here in Vegas, they are taking down the "tent cities" regularly. The homeless have no where else to go, so they just set up in another area. I sincerely doubt LE officers are taking names and running records when they forcibly move these people. They just want them to get out of any area where they can be seen.

IMO, we can never catch all of these freaks. AND, we don't adequatley punish them for their crimes on the first, second or even third offense. They cannot be "fixed" and we can't continue to allow them to skate by and be released. Pleading to lesser charges - when the charges involve crimes against children - SHOULD NOT be allowed - ever. JMO.

It sounds like they got him before he actually hurt the baby. If that is the case (praying that it is) she maybe one of the luckiest babies ever to have been kidnapped. They can call it Divine Guidance, cops instincts or just plain good luck. I call it nothing short of an all out miracle with everything we have read recently and what is going on in the world right now.

Does OK have 3 strikes laws? Is this the last time he will be free to roam the streets, picking up innocent babies?

In the article I read, the officer talked about how sweet this child was. I'm thinking that if anything had happened before they got there, this child would have been in a much worse state. This is my reverent hope.

Tulsa Man Found Guilty Of Kidnapping, Molestation

The trial of a Tulsa man charged with the kidnapping and lewd molestation of a 2-year-old girl in 2009 wrapped up Friday afternoon in Tulsa County District Court.

A twice-convicted sex offender learns he'll spend the rest of his life in prison.

i remember this story when it first broke into the news, i live in oklahoma myself..
very scarry indeed..this is why i make it a point and STAY outside w/ my kids when they are playing out side. our yard has a front yard fence, but i dont trust that...if a sicko wants your kid he( or she) will get them if they get a chance..fence be damned.
after this i think oklahoma put a motion to put these 2nd/repeat offenders to death( or at very least life in prision) not a bad idea at all!
