Forensic Artist Puts A Face On Skull Found In Rural Osage County

Does this face look familiar? He hasn't been seen in at least four months. That's when his skull was found near a creek bed in rural Osage County. For the first time, authorities in Osage County are using facial reconstruction to help them solve the identity mystery.

A face initially believed to belong to someone between the ages of 18 and 38.

Authorities believe the man was between 5'3" and 5'8". They also found a pair of hiking boots and a key chain near the remains.

They mentioned on the news that he could be a missing man from Tulsa. This is the closest I could come to the artist's rendition of the skull. Looks pretty close if you ask me.

I agree SS...I'd turn that in...that'sreally good!

Great job SS!!!!
Think you found the perfect match!!!

There appears to be a glitch from the ME tho: But new just today, word that John Doe might look more like your father or grandfather. The medical examiner has revised his guess on the age of the skull -- upping it by 20 years.

I have to disagree with him...because it does look like a good match to Jason. Now, I guess I will have to keep looking.

That looks like a good match to me, just judging by the face & circumstances.
However.... the news reel claims they just upped the age by 20 yrs.. putting it in 40-60 range. You never know though.

I was going to guess Matthew Wilson (missing Rice Univ student in Houston),, since his hometown is Haworth, which is somewhat near Tulsa... the height fits, but was age 20...

Actually, Matthew's hometown is on the other side of the state. I would expect this person to either be from the immediate area or within 50 miles of where he was found. You need to be familiar with the backroads around the county to find the place.

I would like to find out why the ME guessed the age was 20 years older. I will call next week and ask him.

Can anyone determine if these skeletal remains were identified? I'm not finding anything at NamUs or Doenetwork for January of 2008.
