“It’s possible she was dropped off at some location, but the tent they used for camping is still in the car and it’s not with her,” Hopkins said. “She doesn’t have a cellphone, she left it with her son, and she did have her ID but her boyfriend had it when he was arrested.”
Hopkins said Hart does not have a vehicle and didn’t take any of her belongings. She asserted that some of Hart’s clothing were found in the stolen vehicle when Milutin was arrested and appeared to have blood on them. McGuire declined to confirm that information.
“She’s never left like this before,” Hopkins said. “If she had gone somewhere, it was with her kids or she stayed in touch with her family.”

Cheryl Hart’s family is holding out hope that the 35-year-old mother of three will be found safe, as friends and family work to organize a search party to *locate the missing woman.
Meanwhile, Eugene police on Tuesday said they now regard Hart’s boyfriend, Jeremy Kent Milutin, to be a “person of interest” in the case, “considering what potentially happened to Cheryl Hart,” Detective Jed McGuire said.

Hart’s children are 18, 16 and 10, according to Hopkins, and currently in are the care of their grandmother.
Hopkins said she doesn’t know how long Hart and Milutin had been dating, but she said they were engaged at one point. McGuire said the couple had a long-term, on-again, off-again relationship.
The stolen car that Milutin is accused of driving at the time Hart disappeared is a blue, four-door 1994 Buick Century with Oregon license plate 635-ADX. It was stolen July 26 in Columbia County. Hopkins said the vehicle was stolen from a church in Warren, not far from St. Helens and down the road from where Hopkins resides.
Anyone who saw anything related to the case is asked to call McGuire at 541-682-6308 or Detective Jeff Donaca at 541-682-5193.
Police said there is no connection between this case and another missing person case reported last week involving Jennifer Jean Strom.

McGuire declined to elaborate further, beyond saying it’s “very probable” that Hart’s life is in grave danger given the amount of time she has been missing and the absence of communication with any of her family members or friends.
Hart’s cousin, Tonya Hopkins, said Tuesday she is trying to stay positive.
“I’m trying to remain hopeful, mainly because of her children,” Hopkins said. “There is a lot of family that doesn’t think she’s alive.

McGuire said Hart, of St. Helens, had been on a trip to Nevada and California before stopping at a friend’s house in Eugene. It was not immediately clear whether Milutin was with her for the entire trip. Milutin is also from St. Helens, which is north and slightly west of Portland along the Columbia River.

Surveillance video captured at a Eugene store at 7 a.m. Aug. 5 shows Milutin by himself. While police have declined to reveal where Milutin was shopping or what he purchased, one video image appears to show him buying a white plastic bottle with a blue lid, similar to the packaging for a bottle of Clorox bleach.
Milutin, 36, was then seen at 11:46 a.m. on the same day alone at a gas station in Klamath Falls before returning to Eugene before 10 p.m., when police stopped him and arrested him in the Santa Clara area for allegedly driving a stolen car.
McGuire said detectives want to hear from anyone who may have seen Milutin or Hart — not necessarily together — or the vehicle that day.

"Detectives believe Milutin’s most likely route of travel to Klamath Falls was via highways 58 and 97, but alternate routes cannot be ruled out at this time," police said. "Detectives believe Milutin is somewhat familiar with this route since he and Hart camped along Highway 97 in late July, but the location(s) of those campsites is unknown."

This poor woman. I'm afraid the details are likely very disturbing.

"He's not saying what happened to her. He's just saying he dropped her off," family spokeswoman Rhonda Kirtland said.

Kirtland says Hart's family is trying to stay positive, a task that grows harder with each passing day.
"Well there was a lot of optimism earlier in the week. Now it's starting to get a little bit harder. We're not hearing anything. There hasn't been anyone that's seen her," Kirtland said.

McGuire said the couple was on a trip through the northwest, including Nevada and California, before she went missing.

I just saw this thread this morning and have read every link. Thank you 2Hope4 for all the updates. It's not the same map from the article but here it is:

Seen together in West Eugene 8/4
Milutin seen alone in Eugene at 7am on 8/5
Milutin seen alone again in Klamath Falls around noon 8/5
Milutin back in Eugene by 10pm the same day

That 3 hour drive between Eugene and KF is a long stretch of highway :( She really could be anywhere. What's in KF that he went all the way there?

He certainly does have a long history of felony theft and forgery so the parole was likely something like that, but how many felonies has he been convicted and served time for? (I am having no lock with Oregon state court dockets - their systems keep erroring out for me). I wonder if she knew? I am pretty sure she is dead and he is the reason. He should be going to prison for the rest of his life either way - he clearly can't be expected to be a productive member of society with that rap sheet.
