Happy Holidays everyone!
Not sure how I missed this one... Forgive me if its been posted already. Apparently, Ames is still in Moultriehttp://www.moultrieobserver.com/news/local_news/woman-reports-assault-thefts/article_9ad37d64-fdad-11e4-bf51-a3a12b420cc0.html

Sorry, my bad... This is old. (2015). I wonder where he got the watch.

Here's the story. You're right. It's old, but we need something to talk about! :) My best recollection is that this happened about the time son and dil were breaking up. I assumed the "female acquaintance" was dil since LA's son was accusing her of stealing money and a vehicle. But who knows with this bunch. If LA follows son around, and I think he does, he is no longer in GA. I'm guessing TX.

• Lonnie Ames, 100 block Jones Lane, reported Sunday that a female acquaintance stole 30 silver dollar coins and an Impresario watch with a total value of $5,900.

A watch worth that much would have to be 14k gold. I always wonder where LA gets anything. The paralegal work he does/did can't bring in much. Maybe the watch was a trade.

Bumping for Stephanie. Here's hoping for answers and an arrest in 2017. :heartbeat:

January 4, 2017--42 months missing--3 years 6 months

A day late, but not forgotten. Always remembered. Never losing hope. Stephanie will be found and returned to her loved ones. Lennie Ames will be found...guilty. May that day come soon. :heartbeat:

I'm so encouraged when missing people are found, even if it's just their remains. Today ZuZu Verk, missing since October, was found in Alpine, TX quite by accident in a place previously searched. She was well hidden. Her sort-of boyfriend was arrested today too. Such a gift to her parents. I hope the same will be true in Stephanie's case. We'll be here until it does. :heartbeat:

Does anyone want to volunteer to keep Stephanie's FB page going?

The founder and administrator of Stephanie's FB page since 2013, a WS member and friend of Stephanie's NOLA friends, has scheduled the page for deletion. She can no longer spend the time updating it and monitoring it for messages that might be of interest to LE. No one she's contacted has wanted to take it on. Some have suggested just leaving it up, but she thinks it would need to have messaging disabled. If anyone wants the job or has ideas to at least keep the page visible, please message the administrator Jennifer on the FB page. She didn't say when she had scheduled the deletion, so move quickly if you are interested. Thanks!

And a huge thank you to Jennifer for jumping in to fill this need and keeping it going without help for over three years!!

Developing story: Human remains have been found near 13600 Williams Highway near Provolt by hikers. This address is less than 15 minutes from Stephanie's house. It doesn't say how far off the highway the remains were found. I heard on a FB broadcast something about two skulls, but that has not been mentioned elsewhere.

Two hikers discovered the skeletal remains in a remote area. According to Josephine County Sheriff’s Office, the remains are believed to have been in the area for an extended period of time.

Deputies say the remains of one person was recovered and no evidence of foul play was discovered.

One of the men who stumbled on the remains describes is a "surreal." He was hiking behind his Mom's property in an area that isn't well traveled. Although they thought there were two skulls, LE said there was only one, according to the reporter. The man on camera said he saw...

“Like a sweatshirt that had all the ribs still intact in it, the sleeves were tied up together, we found like a large work boot, and it looked like some type of beer, a beer bottle.”

How do the sleeves of the sweatshirt get "tied up together"? Was the person bound at the wrists? I don't want to jump to conclusions, but Stephanie was wearing work boots (not necessarily large) in the parade and she drank beer.

The KDRV reporter said that the remains were found on private property near the Provolt Community Church area, according to LE.

Here is another possibility. Chase Cook, young man from Medford, left everything behind except a recently purchased handgun in June 2012. His truck was abandoned for several days near Provolt, but then disappeared.

It turns out that it was Chase Cook. The handgun was used to commit suicide. :( So very sad, but I'm glad his mom has him back. Hoping the same for Stephanie's mom.

Although sad, we have hope that Stephanie will be found. Embracing Chase cooks family. Xo

Our monthly vigil continues. Thinking of Stephanie's family and friends. Although life goes on, Stephanie is not forgotten. Neither is suspect Lennie Ames. Even though she is well hidden, we won't give up hope. Thanks to all who stop by here. :heartbeat:

Thank you Lilibet for always remembering Stephanie! Something has been on my mind lately and I wanted to ask you--- do you remember if a psychic was ever used in Stephanie's case?

You're more than welcome! No I don't remember if a psychic was used. But that doesn't mean one wasn't. I don't think JCSO is big on psychics (neither am I). I have a vague memory that someone had a dream that they associated with a particular road. That may have been in a pm and not posted on the thread. I'm not much on dreams either. Just give me facts and I'm good to go. :)

Just wanted to post that I've read WebSleuths entire Stephanie Warner threads tonite. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends, and for those of you here who devote so much of yourselves towards finding Stephanie. I came to WS very recently on behalf of Libby & Abby In Delphi. It's been such a humbling experience to know that so many good people here work and share so much in helping the families of so many people get closure and justice. May God bless us all in our future endeavors to bring the perpetrators to justice and the victims to the forefront & light. You are all an inspiration to me.

:greetings: Welcome to Websleuths, Hazelnutty!! Thank you so much for taking the time to read all of Stephanie's threads (Wow!!) and for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. I'm following Libby and Abby's case too and it's heartbreaking. Hopefully you will continue to check in here from time to time, even though there is nothing new at the moment.

I like to encourage members to "adopt" a quiet thread and post monthly so that loved ones know their missing person isn't forgotten. It bumps the thread to the top of all the threads (for a few minutes anyway) and gets attention from new ones. I'm sure that any of Stephanie's family who might read here really appreciate your post. :)

Lilibet your such a kind, welcoming soul. I love that you ask people to adopt quiet threads and have taken it upon myself to do that with quiet cases that touch me.
Thanks for being you and being awesome! ❤️
