He sounds like he is definitely Hispanic with the salt and pepper hair. He wouldn't fit with our perp, imo. Brown or dirty blonde with blondish hair on the arms and tan with a lighter torso.

I didn't really think so either, but it could still be, so thought it couldn't hurt to post it. The face that this was at the Sands Casino is what stood out for me on this one.

There sure are alot of unsolved murders and rape/attempt rape in the Reno area. I would hope that LE has put some kind of pattern, or at least realized they may have some type of serial rapist/killer on the loose? I live in No Cal and Reno is 2 hours away. He could live in CA up the mtns by Susanvile- it a small town and alot of people drive to the bigger cities to work- It is only 45 mins from Reno.

This definitely sounds like the perp of the October 22nd attack. I would hope that LE will ask the victim in Reno to ID him from a photo lineup. This would possibly get another case solved and move it away from Brianna's and the others for good!

I think this is the party where the former coach from Reno High was involved. From what I found in news reports, the coach was female and supposedly told the mother of one of the girls attending that it was an all female "sleepover" and instead it became a huge drunken party with tons of people of both sexes plus various ages.

Just trying to keep facts striaght here. If you do a goole map search you will see Fallon is 65 miles East of here. Red Rock it No West of Reno. The coach was not from Reno High.

For folks that aren't from the area, realize that even though Reno and Las Vegas are the two biggest cities in the state, they are not that close to one another. Driving times from Reno to:

Sacramento, CA. 2 hours
San Francisco, CA. 3.5 hours
Fresno, CA. 5 hours
Medford, OR. 5 hours
Salt Lake City, UT. 7 hours
Boise, ID. 7 hours
Las Vegas, NV. 7.5 hours
Los Angeles, CA. 8 hours

So just because Las Vegas is in Nevada does not make it the most logical place to look for other victims.

On the runaway thing, I did notice that, but figured that a lot of teenage girls are considered that way because of their ages. It's probably valid in a lot of cases, but do you think it's often just an assumption? I should look up more research on that theory.

I understand what you are saying and I think that will come, if warranted, after he is caught.

When I think about these linked assaults in Reno, nothing seems to stick out as unique that could indicate links to other crimes across the nation though.

Then again, there may be something we are not aware of yet that is his "signature".

The case in AZ is one that does contain similar MO and should be looked at before he is caught, imo. The case where the girl said the sketch is a look alike for her rapist is another.
